Recruiting Prebuilt Liveboards Overview
Prebuilt Liveboards are tailored to specific business needs, offering key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that help you monitor metrics across your business in real-time. By leveraging these Liveboards, you'll gain actionable insights to inform your decision-making and drive growth.
Considerations
- Recruiting prebuilt livveboards and CI Max data refreshes every 10-15 minutes. Exclusions:
- 3-6 hour refresh: Requisition Volume, Virtual Recruiter
- Once daily: Recruiter Activity
- When a filter shows "(Select) on the Liveboard or “0 selected” from the modal, it means no values are excluded—functionally equivalent to “all selected.”
In order to have the most accurate liveboard on data points like Time to Hire and Time to Fill:
- Actions must be taken (ex: workflow stages are updated) on candidate profiles as soon as those stage changes occur with the candidates. This will ensure your data is a great representation of what is actually occurring within your organization: where you are achieving your goals and where there is room for improvement.
- Candidates are included in the Liveboard only after completing at least one step of the application. If a candidate starts an application (apply date) but abandons it, they will not appear in the Liveboard. If they return later and complete a step, they will then appear—using their original apply date.
Include in Reporting
When setting up custom fields, users need to specify which, if any, custom requisition or candidate fields are displayed in these liveboards. This is done in Setup > Custom Fields, and selecting the type of Custom Field. When going to edit a field, check the box (Y) for Reporting next to the custom fields you want to be included.
- Once you add custom fields to reporting, you can add them to a prebuilt Liveboard. The reporting database will update with these fields added. Initially, this database sync can take a few hours to incorporate new data points. Prior to that, you might see values of N/A in the report.
- Custom fields are included in the Filters and in the ending report Table.
Please note:
Multi-select custom fields are not supported at this time. A custom report would need to be developed for you. Please connect with your Customer Success Manager should you feel you need a custom report built.

Application Completion Rate
The Application Completion Rate liveboard will display:

The EEO Liveboard will give you the ability to see hired versus dispositioned candidates, percent gender, race, veteran status, and disability status. The default workflow stages selected are hired and dispositioned, but these can be changed via the filters. Liveboard data is based on the application dates of the candidates in question.

Time to Hire
Time to hire Liveboard represents the number of days between the moment a candidate is approached and the moment the candidate accepts the job. In other words, it measures the time it takes for someone to move through the hiring process once they’ve applied. Time to hire provides a solid indication of how the recruitment team is performing with quality candidates. Since only hired candidates are evaluated in this metric, it is a measure of your recruiting efficiency with high-quality candidates.
It is not a measure of the job market at that location or for a particular role - the Time to Fill is a better metric to take those into account.
The Time to Hire Liveboard would be helpful when answering: Once we have defined a quality candidate, how long does it take to move them through the hiring process?

Troubleshooting
If encountering a blank screen after logging in or when accessing specific reports, try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies
- Use an incognito or private browsing window
- Try accessing the page from a different browser, such as Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- If the blank screen occurs while viewing reports, it may be due to large data volumes; consider reducing the date range or adding filters to manage the data size.
F.A.Q.
It depends on how you want to measure:
- Track all hires together (planned + unplanned): keep using the same requisition so they share one Time-to-Fill.
- Track planned vs. unplanned separately: open a new requisition for the additional hires.
- Note on historical data: changing the Time-to-Fill start event to Open Date will affect past results. It generally shortens Time-to-Fill, and any records where the Open Date is after the fill date are excluded (to avoid negative values).
It depends on the number of candidates in the organization, but it should be less than an hour.
Deleting a workflow stage does not affect historical data. The workflow history for candidates who were in those stages should remain intact.
