Our AI recruiting assistant will aim to search for and display potential prospects with little to no effort on the recruiter's part. With information from the requisition and job description, we will be able to find a list of prospects with contact information that you can easily add to talent communities to contact.

AI-Assisted Candidate Sourcing Overview

The AI-Assisted Candidate Sourcing uses publicly available sources, including governmental public records, the public internet, and social media to show matched prospect candidates as well as matched past candidates. The AI sourcing assistant can be accessed via the prospects tab at any time after a requisition is created.

Using filters allows you to edit the prospect list by any of the criteria used in the initial search or, searches can be narrowed by automatically searching for skills embedded within the job description (extracted using a resume parser) or recruiter-entered skills and industry listed on the requisition.

Important Information

  1. Initial searches use the following criteria:
    • AI expanded Job titles (5 closest found using AI)
    • Expanded locations (within at least 25 miles of any location listed on the requisition)
    • Contact information (personal email, work email, mobile number, or LinkedIn profile).
  2. The matched past candidates are matched based on location (25 miles from any location listed on the requisition), the expanded job titles via a keyword search, and if they were positively dispositioned.
  3. We show 10 partial prospects with limited information including; Name, Title, Current Company, and LinkedIn profile. Additionally, we show whether the full profile contains any of the following: Email, Phone Number, Job History, Education History, Location, Skills, Facebook, X (Twitter).
  4. A recruiter can load 10 more at a time to look through the results.
  5. We show the total count of all prospects returned.

When a requisition is first created/posted, the Sourcing Assistant window will open alerting you to the below:Sourcing Assistant.png

  1. Cold Prospects: Cold Prospects are anyone sourced through the new external sourcing tool.
  2. Previously Applied: Anyone who has applied to your company in the past. If they have applied in the past you will be able to click the candidate name to see their candidate profile.

  4. Applied Search Criteria: These are the search criteria based on the information in the requisition.

  1. Filters: Refine the filters in the left pane to zero in on even more relevant prospects. The filters you can set are below. We use an AND between the different filter criteria i.e. these contact preferences AND these location preferences and an OR between the specific values i.e. personal email OR work email OR phone number. 
    1. Contact Preferences: Personal Email, Work Email, Phone Number, LinkedIn Profile.
    2. Location Preferences: Regions, City or Town, Within 25 miles, Within 50 Miles.
    3. Resume Details: Add Skills or Job Titles to search within a resume. Note: Job Titles are more filter-friendly when they are concise; break down longer Job Titles and focus on what the job entails so it is searchable by the most qualified candidates.
  2. The Contact Preferences filters in AI-Assisted Candidate Sourcing operate on an ANY/EITHER logic, meaning candidates appear in search results if they have at least one of the selected contact preferences—such as a personal email, work email, phone number, or LinkedIn profile.
  3. Credits: Credits must be purchased to download contact information for prospects. You will need to talk to your ClearComany Representative to purchase credits should you run out, otherwise you will be blocked from downloading cold prospects to your CRM.
  4. Add to CRM: With credits, you can download the candidate information to your CRM if you are interested in that candidate.
  5. View LinkedIn: This will bring you to the candidate's public profile. You do not need to have a recruiter license to view the person.
How to Use AI-Assisted Candidate Sourcing

To use this feature, you will need to be familiar with Talent Communities. For more info, check out this article.

  1. Navigate to the requisition of your choice. Click Tools> Recruiting> Requisitions.
  2. From the requisition, click on Prospects.Prospects.png
  3. Click on Cold Prospects.Cold Prospects.png
  4. This will bring you to the AI-Assisted Candidate Sourcing Window. From here you can set your filters and search for prospects. When you like a candidate, you can click ADD to CRM.
  5. This will send the candidate to your ClearCompany Drip Campaign under To Contact, where you can reach out to the candidate and see if they are interested in the position.

F.A.Q.

Is there a way to stop a prospect from appearing in the cold prospect search?

No. However, if that person was a candidate in the past, they would appear as a previous candidate. Inspection of their profile would indicate that they were negatively dispositioned.
