Integrate your Virtual Meeting Provider for Virtual Interviews

ClearCompany's Propose 1:1 interview scheduling tool supports virtual meeting methods by allowing recruiters to integrate their Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, or Google Meet accounts. Increase scheduling efficiency and candidate communication with virtual meeting links that are automatically generated for the day and time of the selected interview. Through this guide, you will learn how to integrate your conferencing provider(s) with your ClearCompany user account.

Prerequisites 

  1. A calendar is connected to your personal ClearCompany user account. 
  2. Depending on your preferred virtual meeting provider, your organization's calendar integration preference may need to be set at the user level. To confirm which calendar integration type your organization uses, please reach out to your IT Admin and reference the FAQ in this article for information.

      Microsoft Teams is the only provider available to organizations using bulk calendar connect.

Supported Virtual Meeting Providers

Users can connect to more than one conferencing service provider, expanding the meeting options available to be used during the 1:1 interview scheduling process. GoToMeeting, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet are available for integration by following the steps below.

Setup Process

Each user at your organization will need to connect their preferred virtual meeting provider to their user account by following the steps below.

  1. Click on your profile icon in the upper right-hand corner of the application. Click My Account.

  2. Click the Accounts tab.

  3. Under the Add Conferencing Service section, click Connect Conferencing Service.

      If you are a Google Calendar user and would only like to enable Google Meet as your virtual provider, turn On the Google Meet toggle.

  4. In the new tab that opens, select the conferencing service you wish to connect. You will then be directed to log in to your account for that service.

  5. After you are able to log in to this service, you may be asked to review the authentication you are providing to our partner Cronofy. If prompted, Accept the requested permission access.
  6. You will then be directed back to your ClearCompany user account and should see a green Connected message next to the service you enabled.

  7. (Only for users with a Google Calendar connected): Optionally, you can choose whether you want Google Meet to be enabled as a virtual interview option.

    Either select to keep or disable Google Meet when prompted, or use the toggle on the Accounts page at a later time to turn on or off this service.

  8. That's it! You're ready to use this service as an interview screening method. To connect an additional service, repeat steps 3-6. Then, refer to this article to learn how to schedule an interview using virtual interview links. 

 

Disable a Connected Meeting Provider

  1. Click on your profile icon in the upper right-hand corner of the application. Click My Account.

  2. Click the Accounts tab.

  3. Click the delete icon next to the conferencing provider you wish to disconnect from your ClearCompany account.

  4. Click Yes on the delete confirmation message.
