Interviewing Candidates with Indeed Interview

Indeed's video conference tool, Indeed Interview, is a fantastic way for Hiring Managers and Recruiters to interview candidates that apply via Indeed's public job board. ClearCompany has partnered with Indeed to integrate this tool directly into ClearCompany, providing a seamless experience for our users to initiate interviews using this platform.

Schedule a 1:1 Interview

To begin scheduling an interview with a candidate, open the candidate's profile page. From there, click on Actions and then Propose 1:1 Meeting Times.

On this page, you are able to select the interviewer, the length of the interview, and when the interview will be held. There is also a selection box titled How will the screening take place? Click on this field and select Indeed Interview, auto-generate link for meeting.

When you are ready, click Save & Continue to move onto the email page. Here you can populate the email that will be sent to the candidate. Once the candidate accepts the interview time, an invite will be sent to both the candidate and the interviewer that will include the Indeed Interview link.

Schedule an Interview with Multiple Interviewers

Similar to the 1:1 Interview, scheduling an interview with multiple interviewers starts on the Candidate's Profile Page by clicking on Actions and then Schedule with Multiple Interviewers.

After that, select the employees you would like to interview the candidate and then select times for the interview to take place. When you are finished, in the right column click Select meeting type and then Indeed Video. This will lock in the selection for all interviewers.

When you are ready, click Review Invite at the bottom of the page. This will take you to the email template that will be sent out to the candidate. Once the candidate accepts the interview, calendar invites with the Indeed Interview link will be sent out to all participants.

Candidate Experience

1:1 Interviews

For 1:1 interviews, the candidate experience will look like this:

The candidate will receive an interview invitation email with a link to select an interview time. The candidate selects one of the times presented and then clicks Confirm Time.
Once confirmed, an email is sent to the candidate that includes a calendar invite for the interview as well as the unique Indeed Interview link that will be used.
