Integrating your calendar will allow recruiters and hiring managers to schedule interviews and assign interview scorecards based on your schedule. When a recruiter schedules an interview for you, the calendar integration will show them when you're available - and more importantly, when you aren't. They can give the candidate they're scheduling with a set of options based on your availability and when they pick a time, it shows up automatically on your calendar.

Calendar Integration Overview
The calendar integration allows users to schedule interviews and assign interview scorecards based on their schedule. This will allow other employees and users to see when you are available for any interviews. The calendar integration allows candidates to self-schedule when that option is selected in a requisition based on when you are available. To learn more about self-scheduling check out this article.

Bulk Calendar Overview
The Bulk Calendar Connect tool allows an IT Admin at your organization to integrate all of your employees’ calendars with ClearCompany in one step. Integrating your user's calendar will allow recruiters and hiring managers to easily schedule interviews and assign interview scorecards based on their current schedule. ClearCompany partners with Cronofy to provide this industry-leading calendar functionality.

Calendar Integration Settings
If your organization utilizes Bulk Calendar Connect, you have control over how an employee's calendar events display when viewed in the ClearCompany system. This includes indications of free/busy calendar blocks and the titles of calendar events.
Note: The Free/Busy setting is enabled by default for all organizations, those that integrate individual user calendars and those that use Bulk Calendar Connect, but can only be toggled off for organizations using Bulk Calendar connect.
When you are scheduling events such as interviews through the ClearCompany application, you will be able to adjust the following on an organization-wide basis:
- Default setting: If an individual's calendar event displays as "Free" vs "Busy"
- Optional security setting: If an individual's calendar event displays full calendar event names in the application
Bulk Calendar Connect clients with IT Admin permission in the ClearCompany application can toggle both settings in Tools > Setup > Calendar Integrations.
- The option to sync calendar entries indicated as a 'Free' event-type can be modified at any time by toggling the setting On or Off.
- In order to update the event detail security setting, the calendar integration must first be disabled. Then, use the toggle to edit the Restrict Data setting and complete the calendar integration enablement process once more. This re-enablement step is required to ensure that data is handled correctly and securely when communicating between ClearCompany and Cronofy (our 3rd party calendar integrator).

Note: These features are enabled and disabled on an organization-wide basis and cannot be toggled on an individual basis.
Integrating your Calendar
- Click on your profile icon in the upper right-hand corner of the application. Click My Account.
- On your Account Details page, click Accounts.
- Click Integrate My Calendar. (If you do not see an option to integrate your calendar, it means your organization is using the bulk calendar integration, and you should reach out to your IT Admin.)
- Your browser will open a new tab and instruct you to choose a calendar and how to complete the integration.
- If the system prompts you to select a specific user's calendar (if you have multiple coworkers' calendars populating on your account, for instance), select your own.

- When the calendar has successfully integrated, you will see its information populate on this page (shown below).
Please Note:
Please note: it may take a few minutes for the integration to complete and show up on the Calendar page of your Dashboard and in Interview Scheduling.
Here are some issues people have run into and troubleshooting solutions!
- Popup blockers: Depending on your browser and computer settings, you may have a popup blocker enabled. This could be an AdBlock (for Chrome) or a setting in Outlook/Office 365. Make sure your popup blockers are disabled on ClearCompany.
- Incorrect calendar type: Double-check what kind of calendar you are trying to integrate. Not sure if yours is Outlook or Office? Check with your IT team or system admin.
- Firewall: Your organization may have a firewall enabled that prevents applications such as this from accessing the information on your account (like a calendar). Talk to your IT team to see if this is the case.
- Errors: Sometimes calendars are unable to integrate because sharing options are not enabled on the calendar itself. For example, you may be getting an error because you do not have Sharing enabled in your Outlook account.
