Interview scorecards are a fantastic tool to help you unify your recruiting process - they provide your entire hiring team with a clear, objective set of criteria upon which to grade candidates for each job requisition. Scorecards can either be assigned when first scheduling the interview, scheduled separately from an interview with a specific due date, or completed on-demand as needed. We will look at how to assign scorecards for each of these scenarios in detail below.

Assign a Scorecard During Interview Scheduling
When initially scheduling an interview through our Propose 1:1 Times or Multi-Interviewer tools, you can assign the scorecard that will be completed by the interviewers to evaluate the candidate. Below are references of where to assign the scorecard when using either the Propose 1:1 Times or Multi-Interviewer tools. Propose 1:1 Times
1. Navigate to the candidate's profile
2. Click the Actions menu, located on the top-right of the profile
3. Select 'Propose 1:1 Times' from the dropdown menu
4. On this Propose Times for Screening page, locate the Select Scorecard dropdown menu on the right side of the page, above the calendar.
5. Select the name of the applicable Scorecard Template that the interviewer should complete
6. Continue with scheduling the rest of the interview details
Multi-Interviewer Scheduling
1. Navigate to the candidate's profile
2. Click the Actions menu, located on the top-right of the profile
3. Select 'Schedule with Multiple Interviewers' from the dropdown menu
4. After adding your interviewers, you should see a 'Select a Scorecard (optional)' field underneath their names on their calendar column
5. Use the dropdown menu to select the name of the Scorecard Template that the interviewers should be completing
6. Continue with scheduling the rest of the interview details
Send a Scheduled Scorecard
Scorecards can be sent to users without a full interview being scheduled with the candidate. These scorecards can be scheduled to be completed by a set Due Date & Time or sent immediately to the interviewers for completion. Follow the steps below to send a scorecard to users.
1. Navigate to the candidate's profile
2. Click the Actions menu on the top right of the candidate profile
3. Select 'Create or Send Scorecard' from the dropdown menu
4. Using the Select Scorecard menu, choose the type of scorecard you need to fill out. Once a scorecard option is selected, a preview of the scorecard will load on the page for easy reference.
5. Select the 'Send scorecard to interviewers' option
6. Use the 'Enter Name of Recipient' search menu to select the user(s) who should complete the scorecard.
Note:
You can select multiple users during this time including yourself if needed. Use the small 'x' icon next to an added user's name if you need to remove them from the list instead.
7. Optional: Enter a Due Date/Time for when the scorecard should be completed by. Use the Calendar and Clock fields to set the due date and time respectively. Upon sending the scorecard, an email will be sent to the selected users with a link to the scorecard and a calendar event for the set due day and time.
Note:
If you don't select a Due Date/Time, upon generation, a scorecard request will be sent to your selected individuals immediately via email with a link to the scorecard to be completed.
Create a Scorecard On-Demand
There may be situations where an interview or phone screen isn't scheduled with a lot of advanced notice and you need to fill out an impromptu scorecard to effectively evaluate the candidate. In these scenarios, scorecards can be created on-demand for you to complete immediately. Follow the steps below to learn how to create an immediately accessible scorecard.
1. Navigate to the candidate's profile
2. Click the Actions menu on the top right of the candidate profile
3. Select 'Create or Send Scorecard' from the dropdown menu
4. Using the Select Scorecard menu, choose the type of scorecard you need to fill out. Once a scorecard option is selected, a preview of the scorecard will load on the page for easy reference.
5. Select the 'Scorecard is for me to complete' option
6. Click the blue 'Create Scorecard' button at the bottom of the page to generate the scorecard
7. Once the scorecard is generated, the page will automatically load the scorecard for you to complete.
You can immediately fill out the scorecard and submit it, or use the 'Save & Finish Later' button to come back to the scorecard at a later time.
