Accessing Your Scorecard

You will receive an email notification whenever a scorecard is assigned to you.

  1. Open the email titled Scorecard for [[CANDIDATE NAME]].

    ScorecardEmail

  2. Click the link in the email to access the scorecard.
  3. If you are not logged into ClearCompany, you will be prompted to log in.
  4. Once logged in, you will be taken directly to the scorecard within the candidate’s interview packet.

Navigating the Interview Packet

The Interview Packet contains the following sections:

  • Details: Includes interview time, location, and the candidate's resume.
  • Interview Guide: Contains behavioral interview questions tied to competencies defined for the role. Note: The guide only populates if a Role is associated with the requisition.
  • Scorecard: The area where you will provide your evaluation. This is shared with other members of the hiring team once submitted.

Completing Scale Questions

For questions with a scale (e.g., 1–5, Yes/No):

  • Review each question, competency, skill, or goal
  • Select the rating that best reflects the candidate’s performance
  • The system saves your responses in real time, so no additional save is required while completing scale questions

Completing Q&A Questions

For open-ended or qualitative questions:

  • Provide detailed, thoughtful responses.
  • You can elaborate with examples, context, or observations.
  • The system auto-saves your answers, so there is no need to manually save each entry.

Submitting or Saving Your Scorecard

Once you have completed the scorecard:

  1. Click Submit Scorecard to finalize your evaluation.
  2. Alternatively, click Save & Finish Later if you need more time to complete it.

    EditScorecard

Important

After submission, scorecards cannot be undone or edited. This maintains fairness and auditability across all candidates.

FAQ

Can I complete a scorecard without an interview guide?

Yes, but the interview guide will only appear if competencies are associated with the candidate’s role.

Can someone else edit my scorecard once it’s submitted?

No. Only the person who assigned the scorecard can delete it, and once submitted, a scorecard cannot be edited.

Can employees with limited access view candidate details?

Users with the “Employee” role can view the interview packet only when selected as an interviewer. They cannot view the full requisition or other candidates.

  • My team is struggling with scorecards getting erased by accidentally navigating away from the page. Is there any easy fix for this or future feature release planned to auto-save periodically or make it harder to exit out accidentally? (I think the mac trackpads have a backspace gesture baked in).

  • Hi Kat,

That's great feedback. As a Mac user, I can relate! If you haven't passed this feedback onto your Customer Success Manager, I would highly recommend doing so. We keep track of client requests like this - if we have not created a feature update request for this already, we can create one to send to our Product team. If one exists already, we can add your account information to the request. The more requests we get, the faster the feature update happens!

    Best,

    Isabel

  • Hi Isabel,

Is there a way to change an assigned scorecard to a different scorecard?  I have 4 candidates scheduled for phone interviews and discovered that I did not have a scorecard for the position they are interviewing for.  I created one and would like to switch from the one I originally assigned to them to the new one I just created.

  • Hi Barbara,

There is not currently a way to switch out the scorecard once it has been sent. If you wish to send a different scorecard, you will need to either:

    • Delete the interview and reschedule with the new scorecard
    • Use the separate "send a scorecard" functionality to send the new scorecard separately from the interview

  • Hi Barbara,

On the candidate profile in question, you should see a tab towards the top that says "Interviews."

If you click on this, it should show any outstanding interviews and associated scorecards, including the one you would like to complete!

  • How far in advance of an interview are the scorecards available to the interviewers?

  • Hello Lauren, as soon as the candidate accepts the interview time, the interviewer will receive an email with the time, interview guide, and scorecard that they will be able to access.
