LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect (RSC) integrates LinkedIn Recruiter with your ClearCompany account to make your hiring process even simpler. By turning on RSC, you’re authorizing the sharing of some candidate, job, and application data across LinkedIn Recruiter and ClearCompany. This integration enables you to get up-to-date candidate information, boost hiring team collaboration, and access more shared applicant data in both systems.

Key Features
-
Automated Job Posting:
Requisitions created in ClearCompany can be synced to your LinkedIn company page and free job posts (LinkedIn Limited Listings).
Review the tabs below for more details about this feature.
Choosing to Post a Job to LinkedIn
On a per-requisition basis within ClearCompany's Recruiting platform, you can declare whether or not the job should be posted on LinkedIn.
- Navigate to the Requisition in question (Tools > Recruiting > Requisitions or use the search menu in the top right of your homepage).
- Select the Details tab on the requisition.
- Select the Job Boards tab.
- Click the 'Edit Posting Options' button found in the top left-hand corner of the page
-
Under the Public Job Board option, you should see a LinkedIn option with a toggle located on the far right. Toggle On to have the job created on LinkedIn and toggle Off to prevent/remove a post on LinkedIn.
Important Note:
In order to select the LinkedIn Job Board option, you must also choose to post the requisition publicly by toggling on the 'Public Job Board'. At this time, you cannot deselect the Public Job Board option and only post to LinkedIn.
Posting Remote Jobs to LinkedIn
At this time, only organizations with the Apply Connect integration enabled can post jobs with Remote locations. If your organization only has the Recruiter System Connect (RSC) integration without Apply Connect, remotely located requisitions will fail to sync to LinkedIn. In those cases, an Office with a valid address location (valid Zip Code & Country Code) must be assigned to the requisition in ClearCompany.
More information regarding Remote Postings through the Apply Connect integration can be found in the 'Remote Jobs' section of this article.
To enable the Apply Connect integration, please reference the steps in this integration Setup Guide.
Posting to LinkedIn Job Slots
Job Slots are a paid offering for LinkedIn Recruiter customers to promote jobs to LinkedIn members.
In order to automatically post jobs from ClearCompany to your Job Slots, LinkedIn's paid Job Wrapping service must be enabled on the LinkedIn Recruiter contract for your organization.
- Navigate to the Requisition in question (Tools > Recruiting > Requisitions or use the search menu in the top right of your homepage).
-
1-Click Export:
Within the LinkedIn Recruiter system, recruiters can actively source candidates and export a member's LinkedIn profile details back to open positions in ClearCompany.
Review the tabs below for more details about this feature.
Exporting Candidates from LinkedIn Recruiter to ClearCompany
With the RSC integration enabled on your ClearCompany account, candidates exported using 1-Click Export, also known as the "Export to your ATS" feature, will automatically have a candidate profile created in selected requisitions within ClearCompany. This candidate profile will be linked with the candidate's LinkedIn Profile for easy access and you can then continue your internal hiring process within the ClearCompany Recruiting system.
To learn how to use the 1- Click Export feature within LinkedIn Recruiter, please review this article.
Profile data that will be exported for a given candidate will be limited to the information the LinkedIn member agreed to allow for export to third-party systems.
Candidate data that may flow into ClearCompany:
- LinkedIn member's profile URL
- LinkedIn member's name
- LinkedIn member's headline
- The member's current employer
- The member's current location
- The member's contact information
Note:
The member's contact information will only sync over if they've consented to share that information with your organization. Most commonly, this consent is gained during an InMail conversation between the LinkedIn Recruiter and prospective member.
Searching Available Jobs for Exporting
When exporting a candidate to ClearCompany through the 1-Click Export feature, recruiters will be able to search which Open ClearCompany Requisitions to consider the candidate for.
Job Search Best Practices:
- Only jobs in an Open status within ClearCompany will appear in the 'Job Name' dropdown list. The requisition does not need to be posted to LinkedIn in order to appear, however, it cannot be in an On-Hold or Closed status within ClearCompany.
- Search by the requisition's full job title. Searching for a job by keywords may not return all of the available results.
- Search by a requisition's Custom Requisition ID, if one is listed on the details of the job within ClearCompany.
Not Seeing the Jobs You Expect?
If a requisition does not appear in this list, please check the following:- The requisition is in an Open status within ClearCompany.
- The requisition did not fail to sync to LinkedIn. For more information regarding the sync process, please review this article.
Exported Candidate History
Within LinkedIn Recruiter, on the ATS section of a given member's profile, you will see an "Export Summary" section if the candidate was exported to ClearCompany using the 1-Click Export feature.
You will be able to see details of that export such as, the requisition the candidate was sent to, the status of that export, and the date on which the export was completed.
-
LinkedIn Recruiter In-ATS Indicator:
The In-ATS indicator allows users to see when a LinkedIn member profile matches a candidate who is already in ClearCompany. This feature provides needed context for recruiters to see whether your organization has interacted with a particular candidate in the past and if they should be reengaged.
Review the tabs below for more details about this feature.
LinkedIn Recruiter View
The In-ATS indicator can be found on the Spotlights section of LinkedIn Recruiter search results and directly on the ATS page of a specific member's profile within LinkedIn Recruiter.
The widget will display current and historical ATS data related to that candidate's application history at your organization.
Applicant data that may appear in LinkedIn Recruiter:
-
Candidate Application History
- Quickly view which requisitions in the ATS a candidate has applied to and see their status history to understand how far they made it in the hiring process.
-
Candidate Notes
- Easily view hiring team notes and feedback given for a candidate's application history
LinkedIn Recruiter Search
The In-ATS indicator will also appear within the Spotlight section of LinkedIn Recruiter search results if the member has a candidate record with your organization in ClearCompany.

As candidates apply to your positions, the RSC integration will attempt to find a matching LinkedIn member profile for the applicants. If a match is found, a copy of their LinkedIn profile will appear on the LinkedIn Recruiter tab of the candidate profile in ClearCompany.
You must be logged into your LinkedIn Recruiter account on another tab within the same browser as ClearCompany in order to load the LinkedIn Recruiter tab. Also, utilizing a private browsing window, such as Google Chrome Incognito, is not supported for these actions.
LinkedIn In-ATS Profile Details
The LinkedIn Recruiter tab on the candidate profile in ClearCompany will include the following:
- The candidate's LinkedIn member profile and details
- Candidate notes and application history
- Personal InMail History with the candidate
-
Shortcuts to common LinkedIn Recruiter actions such as Send InMail, Save to Job, and View in Recruiter.
InMail History and Sending InMail
The Recruiter System Connect integration allows you to view historical and compose new InMail messages with candidates, directly from within their candidate profile in ClearCompany. Historical messages can be found on the Recruiting Activities tab of the In-ATS Profile, see image below.
LinkedIn Recruiter Seat holders can also connect their LinkedIn Recruiter Account with their personal ClearCompany User Account to enable a separate InMail history displayed on candidate profiles in ClearCompany. This is an optional setup due to the InMail History included on the Recruiting Activities tab of the In-ATS profile.
Learn how to connect your user accounts by reviewing this article.
Visibility Note
Only you can see your InMail messages with a candidate. Other users in ClearCompany cannot see your messages when viewing the candidate profile.
Searching for Matching LinkedIn Member Profiles
