LinkedIn: Connecting your LinkedIn Recruiter Account with your Personal ClearCompany User Account

Follow

As a supplemental and optional part of the LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect integration, Recruiter Seat holders can connect their LinkedIn Recruiter Account with their personal ClearCompany User Account. This connection will enable an InMail widget to display historical messages on the Recruiter tab of a synced candidate's profile in ClearCompany. InMail messages can still be seen on the Recruiting Activities tab of the member's In-ATS Profile without the account connection.

Note

Only you can see your InMail messages with a candidate. Other users in ClearCompany cannot see your messages when viewing the candidate profile.

FAQs:

  1. After connecting your LinkedIn account, you see the following message in ClearCompany: "Your account is connected but it is not a LinkedIn Recruiter seat holder"

LinkedIn-PersonalAccount-NotRecruiter.png Answer: In order to have a LinkedIn Recruiter seat, you must be assigned the 'Recruiter Searcher' permission in LinkedIn. This message indicates that you do not have the correct permission levels to be considered a Recruiter seat holder.

Checking Permissions in LinkedIn

1. Within LinkedIn Recruiter (https://www.linkedin.com/talent/home), click on your profile in the top-right corner. Select 'Manage users in Account Center' from the dropdown menu.

Note:

If you don't see the 'Manage users in Account Center' option, please connect with your team internally to locate your Account Center Admin who can complete these steps.

2. Navigate to the Users page of the Account Center and click on the name of the user to review.
