LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect (RSC) (for more information regarding our LinkedIn Integration options, please visit our LinkedIn Integrations Overview) integrates LinkedIn Recruiter with your ClearCompany account to make your hiring process even simpler. By turning on the RSC integration, you are authorizing the sharing of some candidate, job, and application data across LinkedIn and ClearCompany. This guide will walk you through the process of enabling Recruiter System Connect and its supplemental features: Unified Search and Recommended Matches.

Important Note: Recruiter System Connect is only compatible with LinkedIn Recruiter Corporate or LinkedIn Professional Services. Recruiter Lite Licenses are not compatible.
Activating RSC in ClearCompany
- Sign in to your LinkedIn Recruiter account in one browser tab. Then, log into your ClearCompany account in another tab in the same browser window. It's important that both platforms are signed in using tabs in the same browser window so they can communicate with each other.

Click Tools and then Setup. In the “Recruiting Setup” column, scroll down to LinkedIn Integration.
- If you don’t see this option in Setup, reach out to your HR team to make sure you have the proper permissions.

- User is a Recruiter Admin on the LinkedIn Recruiter contract
- User has an Active Seat on the Recruiter contract

By default, if your LinkedIn Recruiter account opened in the other tab is recognized, the LinkedIn ATS Integration Packages menu should appear. If you don't see the menu, an option should appear asking you to Sign In to your LinkedIn account.

To enable Recruiter System Connect, click to check off the Sourcing Package option.

Activating Unified Search and/or Recommended Matches
There are additional features available to make your experience between ClearCompany and LinkedIn even more seamless: Unified Search and Recommended Matches. Enabling these features involves only a few steps.
- Within ClearCompany, click Tools and then Setup. In the “Recruiting Setup” column, scroll down to LinkedIn Integration.

Under the Statuses tab, click the Choose Packages button to the right of the Integration Packages header.

Under the Sourcing Packages section, click the View Integrations drop-down and check the box for one or both Unified Search and Recommended Matches.
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Verifying within LinkedIn Recruiter (optional)
By now, your LinkedIn Recruiter account should be communicating with your ClearCompany account. You can confirm the status of the connection, as well as modify certain integration settings, directly within your LinkedIn Recruiter account. Follow the steps below.
- In LinkedIn Recruiter, click on your profile image in the top right corner (see the image in Step #2).
- Select Product Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Under the 'Advanced' section on the left side of the screen, click ATS Integration.

Scroll to the ClearCompany section. Click Edit.

Choose to connect the integration at a Company or Contract Access Level. Select the Activate In-ATS Indicator and In-ATS profile widget to enable Company-level access and deselect to activate Contract-level access.
- Contract Level Access (Default) - Enable all seats in this contract to have access to company-level features, plus Notes, InMails, and History (You must contact LinkedIn Support (LTSATSIntegrations@linkedin.com) in order to turn this level off).
- Company Level Access (Optional) - Enable all seats across all contracts to export LinkedIn profiles to your ATS and view ATS candidate info in Recruiter.
- Choose to enable or modify optional integration features:
- 1-Click Export (Defaults to On/Selected) - Enable or disable the member export feature across all contracts of your company, within Recruiter. This setting must remain enabled in order to utilize the Export to your ATS feature.
- InMail stub profile (Defaults to Off/Unselected) - Enable all seats at your company/contract to export LinkedIn member profile information to the ATS, and create new candidate records when members consent to share profile and contact information.
- When satisfied with your changes, click Save.
Finishing the Integration Setup Process
- Wait for all ATS and LinkedIn data to sync. This could take up to a few hours.
- Navigate to your LinkedIn Integrations page within ClearCompany for integration status updates.

When a green banner appears on this page, the initial sync between the two systems is complete and you can begin using the integration. You can also view the current status of your integrations at the top of this page.
Any Open and Publicly posted requisitions in ClearCompany will now also be posted on LinkedIn.- If any existing Open requisitions should not be posted on LinkedIn, we recommend editing the Posting Options for those requisitions and toggling Off the LinkedIn Job Board option.

Tip: If after 24 hours, you still do not see the green banner, please click the Notify ATS button to the right of the Sourcing Package section.

Answer: When logged in to www.linkedin.com, review the top navigation bar of your LinkedIn homepage. Next to the Work button in the top-right corner, you will either see a Recruiter or Recruiter Lite button depending on your contract type.

Answer: At the time of purchasing a LinkedIn Recruiter license, one or more seat holders will be designated as administrators on the contract. Only contract administrators can adjust contract settings or turn on additional LinkedIn integrations like Recruiter System Connect and Apply Connect. Users with the Recruiter Admin Role in LinkedIn are considered Contract Admins.
LinkedIn Role Descriptions:
If you're an Account Center Admin on LinkedIn, you can review the roles and permissions of each user on your Recruiter contract:
1. Within LinkedIn Recruiter (https://www.linkedin.com/talent/home), click on your profile in the top-right corner. Select 'Manage users in Account Center' from the dropdown menu.
Note:
If you don't see the 'Manage users in Account Center' option, please connect with your team internally to locate your Account Center Admin who can complete these steps.
2. Navigate to the Users page of the Account Center and click on the name of the user to review.
3. On the user's profile, check if the user has the Recruiter Admin Role.
4. If the user does not have the Recruiter Admin Role but should, click the 'Manage License' button on the far right to select the Recruiter Admin Role.

Troubleshooting Errors During Integration Setup

On the LinkedIn Integration page within ClearCompany, you do not see the setup widget load.
Recommended SolutionThis typically indicates a LinkedIn permission and/or login issue. Please check the following and then re-login to ClearCompany.
- You have an Active seat on your organization's LinkedIn Recruiter contract.
- You are an Admin of your organization's LinkedIn Recruiter contract.
- You are logged in to linkedin.com using the same email address as noted on your contract seat.
- You are logged in to your LinkedIn account in a tab within the same browser window as ClearCompany.

On the LinkedIn Integration page within ClearCompany, you see a message that says, "You do not have enough permission to access this page".
Recommended SolutionThis error message is usually seen when the LinkedIn account you're signed into does not have the appropriate level of permissions required to set up the integration. Ensure the following are true:
- You are logged in to your LinkedIn Recruiter account in another tab within the same browser window as ClearCompany.
- Your LinkedIn Recruiter seat is Active and has been granted Admin privileges your organization's contact.
After making any of the above corrections, please log out and back into ClearCompany to try again.

On the LinkedIn Integration page within ClearCompany, you see a message for the Sourcing Package under Status that says, "Initiated/Pending”

The green, 'successful sync' banner has not appeared after a few hours, up to a day depending on the size of your organization.
Recommended SolutionToggle off/on the ClearCompany ATS Integration Settings in LinkedIn. Steps on how to complete this are listed below.
- Log into your LinkedIn Recruiter account used to begin the integration setup process.
- Access the ATS Integration page in your LinkedIn Recruiter account (steps a, b, and c in the image below)
- Within the ClearCompany section, toggle Off the Company level access and Save the changes. (Steps d and e in the image above). Then, edit the settings and toggle back On the Company level access. Save changes.
- Save your changes. Wait for the integration sync to take place and check the LinkedIn Integration page in ClearCompany for the green sync banner to indicate a successful integration configuration.
