Series are used for grouping courses that have associated authors or subject matter together. This is used to group learning together so they are quicker to find and edit. In this article, we dive into creating a series.

Series
- Allows Administrators to quickly access related objects for editing purposes.
- Used with courses on the same topic that are in different languages.
- The learner sees associated courses in a series on the Front End under “System recommendations”.
- Series neither provide a defined path for learners nor do they “bundle” items together for an overall completion purpose.
- Users must have access to all objects in the series in order to launch each one.
Creating a Series
- From the administration dashboard click Learning Objects. Click Series.
- Click Add Series in the top-right corner.
- Fill out the following fields:
- Owner Group: The group responsible for managing this object. Required.
- Series Name: This is what the series will be named. Required.
- Series Description: A description that will appear on the object detail page.
- Click Save
- When you save the series, navigate to the Objects tab.
- Click the Green Action button on the objects that should be added to this series.
