Supported Phone Number Types
Phone numbers listed on the candidate profile can be categorized as one of the following types: Mobile, Home, Work, or Other.
ClearText supports texting candidates when their phone number is listed as Mobile or Other. You cannot send a text to numbers listed as Home or Work.
Text Opt-In Request
As part of ClearCompany's compliance with 10DLC regulation, applicants are asked at the beginning of the application process to provide their mobile phone number and opt-in to receiving text messages from your business. This is optional for the candidate to complete.
Phone numbers collected at this stage will be listed on the candidate's profile and you can immediately begin texting the candidate if they've chosen to Opt-In to communication.
Resume Upload
When the applicant provides a resume file during the application process (or if you manually upload a collected resume), the system will automatically parse the information from the file to fill out the candidate's profile. If a mobile phone number is listed on the Resume, this will be automatically listed on the candidate profile created for the applicant.
Parsing Phone Number Types
If the applicant did not specify the number as a Mobile phone on their resume, the system will list it as type Other by default. You can access the Edit Candidate Info page to modify the listed type if necessary. Reminder: Text messages can still be sent when the number is listed as type, Other.
