Self-Registration allows users to create their own Learning platform accounts. This article provides a comprehensive guide on setting up Self-Registration and explains how users can register independently.

Self-Registration Overview
When Self-Registration is enabled, the super admin must configure the following settings:
- Whether to display the "Register" link on the login page.
- The default group for self-registered users.
- The recipients of registration notification emails.
- Whether users are auto-approved.
- Whether to hide the username field.
Navigating to Self-Registration
- From the administration dashboard click Settings, then Options.
- Navigate to the Self-Registration Toggle.
Enabling Self-Registration
- Toggle Self-Registration to "ON".

Update the following fields:
- Show Register Link On Login Page: Select “Yes” to display a "Register" link on the login page. Users can click this link to access the registration form and create an account.
- Default Group: Assign a default group for all new users. A default group is required if Auto Approval is set to "Always."
- Default Role: Specify the default role to assign to new users.
- Registration Notification Emails: Add email addresses for individuals who should be notified about newly registered users.

Auto Approval
- No: All new users must be reviewed and activated by a Superadmin before gaining access.
- Always: User accounts are automatically created upon completing the registration form.

If Qualified: User accounts are auto-approved if their email domain matches the specified domains.
- To add a domain, enter it in the textbox and click Add Domain.
- To remove a domain, click the X next to the domain.
- Accounts with unmatched domains require manual approval by a Superadmin.
- Hide Username Field: If enabled, the user's email address will serve as their username.
- Hide CAPTCHA: If enabled, the CAPTCHA verification will be removed from the registration form.

Optional Fields to Show:
- Display additional fields for user registration by selecting any created User Auxiliary Fields.
- If the Group Code field is selected, new users can enter a group code to be placed into a specific group upon approval, rather than the default group.
User Experience
When Self-Registration is enabled:
- When a user navigates to the login page, they will see a Register a New Account option.
- They must complete the fields configured during the setup.
- Upon submission, they will see a Registration was Successful message.
