What is Job Postings: 1-to-Many Locations
When creating a requisition, you have the option to select to include multiple locations so that each location has its own job posting. This allows users to create a requisition to save time when creating the same requisition.
How Locations Display
Default Posting Options
Default Posting Option: The default posting will be the location selected from the "Office" field. This can be changed from the Location(s) for Job Boards.
-
Change Default Posting Location. This can be done by going to Edit Posting Options and selecting Change Default Posting Location.
Multiple Locations
Multiple Locations: You have the option to select up to 30 locations; all the locations will be displayed here. When a location is removed, it will be removed from job boards, and if one is added, it will be added to a job board.
Remote Posting
Remote: You have the option to remove the default location and select remote with no address and make that the default as well for a job.
- Remote postings use the office location for the country.
- For remote postings outside the United States, the office must include a city before setting it to Nationwide or no specified address. This ensures the job posts correctly at the country-wide level.
- Only one country per requisition can be set as remote at a time.
- To post remotely across multiple countries (for example, across Europe), create a separate requisition for each country.
Please Note:
If you have a LinkedIn Integration, at this time, only organizations with the Apply Connect integration can post jobs with Remote locations.
- If your organization has the Recruiter System Connect (RSC) integration without Apply Connect, remotely located requisitions will fail to sync to LinkedIn.
- In those cases, an Office with a valid address location must be assigned to the requisition.
- LinkedIn does not support State/Province-wide posting locations at this time.
Career Sites
For the example below, we created a requisition and posted it to the following locations: New York, Chicago, San Antonio, NM, and San Antonio, TX.
Stand-Alone Career Sites
When multiple locations are selected rather than the requisition being grouped, it shows each location as a separate listing.
Internal Career Site
When posting internally and multiple locations are selected, it will also show each location as a separate listing.
Career Site IFrame
XML/Custom Job Feeds are supported. All locations listed on the requisition are listed within the job feed. The top-level location will be the default location on the requisition. Each location will also have its own postings.
