Bulk Calendar Connect - Google (Workspace/G-Suite)

Note:

In order to set up or edit your organization-wide calendar integration, you must be a ClearCompany User provisioned with the IT Admin user permission. Check with your HR team if you’re unsure about your permission levels. Google will require a user with admin rights to the Google Workspace.

Configure the Calendar Integration in ClearCompany

Follow the steps below to bulk integrate your calendars.

  1. Navigate to Tools > Setup Calendars.Calendar Option.png

     

  2. Review the Sync Settings options and enable or disable the visibility and security options to your preference.

  3. Click Authorize Calendar Access.

  4. Select Google from the provider list.

  5. Click to Install Cronofy Google Workspace app.

    Important Note:

    The user installing this app must be the admin for Google Workspace, as well as, the IT Admin in ClearCompany. More information can be found in Cronofy's documentation here.

  6. Select:
    • I have installed the Cronofy app on our Google Workspace domain
    • I agree to the Cronofy Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  7. Click Link Google Domain Workspace.

  8. Sign in to your organization's Google System Admin account.

  9. After logging in, you'll be brought back to the ClearCompany Calendar Setup page and you should see a Sync in progress message.

  10. At this stage, the integration is syncing your organization's calendar information with ClearCompany. The Calendar Integration Status on the setup page will say ENABLED once this initial sync is complete.

Please Note:

After enabling your organization's calendar integration, you will be able to view the sync status and any sync errors on the Calendars setup page. Please review this article for more details on how to Troubleshoot Calendar Sync Issues.

Adjusting Calendar Integration Settings

An IT admin can adjust event visibility and security settings, such as removing "Free" event types or hiding event titles. Review this article for more information and instructions on how to modify the integration settings.

Disabling the Calendar Integration

If for any reason you want to stop syncing calendars, navigate to Tools > Setup > Calendars and select Disable Calendar Integration. The integration can take between 5-15 minutes to be fully disabled.
