The Learning Debug Reports provide SuperAdmins with tools to validate data integrity within the learning platform. Debug Reports help identify potential issues such as duplicate records, failed imports, broken SCORM/xAPI content, or user assignment exclusions. By offering detailed insights into system activities and configurations, Debug Reports are essential for maintaining a healthy and accurate learning environment.

Debug Reports Overview
Debug Reports offer visibility into the backend processing of data within the learning platform. They allow SuperAdmins to:
-
Review group and user file uploads.
-
Confirm successful file imports or identify failed ones.
-
Monitor SCORM/xAPI interactions and recent user activity.
-
Troubleshoot mail logs, assignment exclusions, and content visibility.
Types of Reports
When users click Review Report next to the report they would like to analyze, the reports will be generated in two ways:
| CSV File | Clicking View Report will download a raw data file. |
| Dashboard |
Clicking Run Report will open an interactive dashboard with additional filtering and export options. |
Debug Report Rights
Debug Reports are only accessible to top-level SuperAdmins and are particularly useful for diagnosing system errors or confirming correct data flow.
- Some reports are limited to 30 or 365 days of historical data.
- SCORM or xAPI packages must be authored to properly display data.
Debug Reports Navigation
- From the administration dashboard, click Reports, then click Debug Reports.
- Below are the Debug Reports available.

Debug Reports Considerations
- Ensure that all SCORM or xAPI content is authored to return data (e.g., quiz responses, completion status). Improperly configured content will result in blank or partial reports.
- Be aware of time restrictions. Data for some reports is not stored indefinitely (e.g., 30 or 365 days). Clients should regularly download and archive key reports.
- For CSV-to-FTP reports, the correct configuration of FTP credentials and enabling relevant settings is critical.
- If report data is missing or files fail:
- Review import logs
- Confirm data formats
- Check content authoring settings
- Large reports may take time to generate and download. Use filters to narrow the scope if needed.
F.A.Q.
The Object with No Access report helps identify content that is not assigned to any users or groups, which can highlight configuration errors, unused content, or gaps in training assignments.
The Assignments Debug report allows SuperAdmins to cross-reference assigned users, groups, and learning objects. It’s useful for investigating missing assignments, validating exclusion rules, and ensuring group-based assignments are working correctly.
Yes. The “Completion CSV to FTP” and “Assignment CSV to FTP” reports confirm which files were generated and sent by the LMS. They act as a log of successful exports and can be used to compare with your external system to ensure syncing is working.
