ClearCompany Learning’s Static Reports provide a set of pre-built templates that allow administrators to extract large datasets related to user training activity. Static Reports are useful for running consistent, accurate reporting without building a report from scratch. In this article, we explore the available Static Reports, how to use them, and considerations for maximizing their value.

Static Reports Overview

Static Reports are designed for administrative users who need structured, repeatable reports on training data such as completion rates, overdue items, quiz results, and user logins. Unlike Smart Reports, which are more dynamic and keyword-based, Static Reports are fixed templates built to support frequent administrative or compliance tasks.

Rights

The Static Reports Dashboard by default, access is restricted to admin roles (Manager, Administrator, SuperAdmin). To grant access to other roles, assign the Static Reports Right. Manager and Administrator roles are limited to their group structure.

Filters are applied before generating the report and persist across reports until cleared.

The Assigned Objects Status Report provides a comprehensive view of all assigned learning objects and their respective user statuses.

Use Case:

The Overdue Objects Report lists all currently overdue learning objects by user, highlighting items that require attention.

Complex Object Progress Report (Dashboard)

When generating an individual report, if no data is available for the selected user, the system will display the message: "There is no data to display for this user."


F.A.Q.

How is object popularity determined?

It considers metrics like views, completions, and user feedback to gauge engagement levels.

Why don’t I see some reports listed?

You may not have the appropriate Static Reports rights assigned. Confirm with your system administrator.

Permissions: Ensure all necessary roles (e.g., department leads) have the Static Reports right.

How often is the report data updated?

Most Static Reports reflect real-time or near-real-time data. Some delays may occur depending on user activity sync.
