Analytics Dashboard Overview
The Analytics Dashboard is a visual reporting tool that helps administrators quickly identify areas of success and concern in their training programs. It highlights metrics like assignment status, completions, logins, and user actions over time. Administrators can:
- Identify overdue training at a glance
- Analyze monthly trends in engagement and course completions
- Spot patterns, such as high numbers of started-but-not-completed objects
- Export visual data for reporting purposes
Navigation
- From the administration dashboard, click Reports, then click Analytics Dashboard.
- To customize the dashboard, click on "Manage Gadgets" in the top right corner to add or reorder gadgets.
Important Considerations
- The Analytics Dashboard defaults to displaying active users and can be further customized through gadget management.
- Admins view data based on their group structure, but cannot filter data by groups.
- Consider user roles and access permissions to ensure appropriate dashboard visibility.
- Customize gadgets to align with specific reporting needs.
Rights
The Analytics Dashboard is available by default to admin roles (manager, administrator, superadmin). Usually, the User role won’t have access to this area. The following Rights can be added or removed to give access to a user:

Gadgets
- All gadgets are draggable, so you can customize the order in which they appear.
- All gadgets have an icon in the upper right corner:
- The down arrow allows users to export the data to a .csv file.
- The camera allows users to get a PNG file of the visual.
Actions
The Actions gadget provides a review of specific User actions over a duration of time (3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, or Custom).
Purpose: Review user or admin activity over time
Use Case: Useful for auditing compliance—see which actions were taken and when by filtering by time period or action type.

The Assignment gadget shows results for each assignment batch pertaining to accounts that can be accessed.

The Leaderboard gadget displays users' points and badges earned in order of how many points each user earned.

Purpose: Tracks training records that were started but not completed

Not directly. The data shown reflects the admin's access level and group structure, but filtering by group is not currently supported within the dashboard itself.
Data is refreshed in near real-time. However, there may be short delays (minutes) after actions like completions or assignments before updates appear.
By reviewing metrics like login frequency, badge acquisition, and assignment status, admins can identify disengaged users and target communication to boost participation.
The Assignments gadget provides a general view of assignment batches, while Team Assignments is focused on the user's own team, making it more relevant for managers.
Reach out to users with incomplete records, assess potential barriers (e.g., unclear content, lack of time), and consider revising the training content or structure.
