Applied Final Score

Definition

Overall Score: An Overall Score is a system-calculated score based on weighted sections and the scores provided by the last review participant (typically the review subject's manager or supervisor).

An Applied Final Score is a manually entered score by the last review participant, overriding the calculated section-by-section scores.
How It Works Each section of the review is assigned a weight. The Overall Score is calculated by averaging the section scores based on their weights. All section scores are added together to produce the Overall Score. The final participant manually enters a score, which replaces the calculated score.

360 Reviews: Special Considerations & Key Notes

360 Reviews: Special Considerations

360 reviews differ from standard performance reviews in how scores are tabulated:

  • All participants’ section-by-section scores are included in the calculation of the Overall Score, rather than relying solely on the final reviewer's input.
Key Notes
  • Display of scores in certain areas (e.g., Team, User, or Me pages) depends on whether the review template has the score set to be visible for the user accessing the page.

  • Ensure your review templates reflect your organization's preferences for score visibility and scoring logic.

By understanding and configuring these scoring options, you can align ClearCompany's Performance product with your organization's goals for performance evaluations. If you have further questions, contact our support team for assistance.
