Review templates are what you will use when launching performance reviews to your team. By having templates ready, you can launch these reviews effortlessly as the sections and scoring will already be determined in the templates. This will make launching multiple types of performance reviews much easier because you won't have to rebuild each one. In this article, we cover the templates available and how to create your own.

Performance Reviews: Templates

The review template is the review form that is filled out to evaluate the review subject. It contains all of the questions you wish to include to evaluate the subject.

What is the difference between a 360 review template and a performance template?  The only difference between a 360 template and a performance template is that 360 reviews do not include Goal Review and Goal Planning sections. Typically, 360 reviews include questions that are geared towards soliciting peer and managerial feedback (evaluating people management skills and team-based skills).

Performance Reviews: Template Options

When creating a Performance Review Template, the following settings must be set up.

Select Section
Select the review sections you would like to include in this review template. To add additional sections, click Add section in the bottom right-hand corner.
