Depending on a user's rights they will have access to different parts of the Learning platform . As a Superadmin you can help users who are having any login issues. In this article, we troubleshoot common user login issues.

Dashboard Overview
When navigating to your Learning Platform there will be two displays: User and Administration side depending on the permissions/rights the user has been given. This allows users to navigate between the two systems seamlessly.
The user side is accessible to all users and is where assigned training is accessed. | |
The administration side is where users with the appropriate rights can make changes to the system. |
Logging In
- ClearCompany, You can access the ClearCompany system at [[Your Organization]].clearcompany.com, then navigate to Tools> Learning.
- ClearCompany Learning: To log in, visit your company’s unique Brainier System site, [Site Name].brainier.com. (example: elan.brainier.com).
Troubleshooting Logging In Issues
Verify Username
- Navigate to Users.
- Using the search bar, locate the user’s account and click the pencil on the right to work with the user’s account.
- Verify the username. If this is correct, and the account isn’t locked, then the issue is an invalid password. To change the password, see the options below.
Locked Out User
After 3 or more incorrect login attempts, users will be locked out for up to 30 minutes. If users are locked out they will see this message: "Your credentials could not be validated. Please try again or use the forgot password link."
To reset the password, users can select the Forgot My Password link and they will be prompted to enter their email address.
Note: The email entered must match the email address that appears on the user profile in the Learning platform If a user’s account does not have an email address, they must contact support or the company’s admin team for assistance.
A user can opt to wait up to 20 minutes and then re-try with their valid username and password.
Password Reset
- User should navigate to their learning platform login page.
- Click Forgot Password.
- User should enter the e-mail address associated with their account and click “Submit”
- If their account was found they will receive a message stating “Your account was found and a temporary password has been sent to your email address.”
- Clicking the link in the email will open a window to their learning platform to create a new password and they will be automatically logged in to the LMS.
- Navigate “Users”.
- Locate the user you are looking for and select the Pencil Icon.
- You’ll have two options to reset the user's password.

Option 1 - select “Email User Login Info” on the right-hand side of the Settings for the user you have located. In this option, the user will be e-mailed the LMS URL, their Username, and a password reset link.
- Confirm the email and edit the email template as you like.

Option 2: You can manually change their password, by following the steps below:
- After clicking the pencil icon, click “Edit”.
- Navigate to the “Password” field.
- Type in a password, confirm the password, and select whether you would like them to change their password in their next login under “Force Password Change”
- If “No” they will keep the same password you had keyed in.
- If “Yes” they will be forced to change their password upon entering the password you keyed in)
- After clicking the pencil icon, click “Edit”.
- Click Save at the top or bottom of the page.
