Adding and Editing Application Sections

Follow

ClearCompany applications are broken up into sections. Sections can create page breaks in an application, enabled or disabled on a per-requisition basis, and can be used as a handy internal-facing organization tool. Follow the guide below to add and edit sections to your application.

What are application sections?

Sections are used to group questions or fields when creating your application. When creating a requisition and selecting an Apply Process, you will see the sections of the application and if applicable toggle on or off any optional sections. Sections can also be created when wanting to group sections to apply a rule to that section. To learn more about rules, check out: Job Applications: Rules.

Adding and Editing Application Sections

  1. Go to Tools > Setup.Setup.png
  2. Click Applications and click Edit for the application that you wish to edit.Setup- Applications.png
  3. Sections are indicated by bars that divide questions in the application. For ease of organization, try collapsing each section to view them all.Application Sections.png
  4. To add a new section, scroll to the bottom of your application and click Add Section.Application- Add Section.png
  5. Your new section will be added to the bottom. Click MOVE UP to change its location.
  6. To make edits and view section settings, click EDIT.Application - Add Section Settings.png
    1. Rename the section: Add a new name to the Name field.
    2. Allow this section to be hidden in specific requisitions: Clicking this will allow you to enable or disable the contents of this section on a per-requisition basis. An example would be checking for a screening question section. If you have a Client Service Department application but don't want to create a new application process for Implementation Manager screening questions, you could create an Implementation Screening Questions section and check this box. When you add this application to a position, you'll then have the option to enable or disable that section.
    3. Insert a page break after this section: If you wish to break up your application into multiple pages, you can do so by checking this box.
  7. When you are satisfied with the updates, click Save.
