How to enable the Hiring Compliance Guardrails setting
Included features
- Locked Requisition Fields
- Templates Required for Requisition Creation
- Offer Letters Exceeding Salary Require Approval
Note: All of these features are included when this setting is turned on for your organization. At this time, there is no ability to only turn on a select few.
-
Locked Requisition Fields
Recruiters can lock certain requisition fields, including the Job Description, Salary, or Approval Process at the requisition template level.
When locked fields are added to a template, a Hiring Manager creating a requisition from that template will not be able to edit the information already provided in those fields.
These locked fields will also appear "locked" to Recruiters except they will have the ability to unlock and edit the information when creating a requisition from a template.
-
Templates Required for Requisition Creation
Once the Hiring Compliance Guardrails setting is enabled on your account, all Recruiter and Hiring Manager users will be required to use a template when creating a requisition. This applies to requisitions created using the Simple Form or A-Method of Hiring process.
-
Offer Letters Exceeding Salary Require Approval
During the requisition creation process, a salary/hourly pay range can be set for the prospective employee. Then, when creating an offer letter for a candidate, the system will require the sender to add a non-self approver on the offer letter if a Pay Rate Amount that exceeds the set range was entered.
