Absorb LMS WoW App: Configuring SSO

You can set up SSO for the Absorb WoW app once you have added the Absorb LMS WoW App in ClearCompany, aligned users and/or departments and assigned ClearCompany users the app. This guide will go over the steps necessary to configure SSO for The Absorb WoW app.

To configure SSO, you will need to be a System Admin (all access user) in Absorb. 

1. Log in as a System Admin in Absorb using an incognito or private browser.
2. Click the person icon at the top right of the dashboard for Account settings and then click Portal Settings.
   
3. Select Manage SSO Settings - If you do not have access to Manage SSO settings in your account, you will need to reach out to Absorb Support or your Client Success Manager at Absorb to get SSO enabled. 
   
4. Click Add.
   
5. Open the ClearCo-SAML-Info.txt file downloaded when adding the app either in TextEdit (macOS) or Notepad (Windows) to complete the following fields:
   • Name: This field can be any name they would like to add such as their company name or shortname
   • Method: Leave selection as SAML.
   • Key: Copy and paste the certificate contents between -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- and -----END CERTIFICATE----- from the ClearCo-SAML-Info.txt file.
   • Mode: Select Service Provider Initiated.
   • Id Property: Select Username.
   • Signature Type: Leave selection as Sha1.
   • Login URL: Copy and paste the Assertion consumer service URL/Single-sign on service URL from the ClearCo-SAML-Info.txt.
   • Logout URL: Leave blank.
   • Single Logout: Leave selection as OFF.
   • Enforce Admin Side SSO: Leave selection as OFF.
   • Assigned Routes: Click the blue button to add ONE assigned route - the assigned route should be the same route input in WoW app setup.

   • Allow User Provisioning: Select ON for auto-provisioning users or OFF for manually provisioning users.

     

   • Click Save to the right of the dashboard.
   • Remain logged into your Absorb admin account in the incognito or private browser until it is confirmed you and your users can successfully access Absorb via the Absorb WoW app.

Once SSO is enabled, all users will need to sign into ClearCompany in order to access Absorb LMS. They will be redirected to ClearCompany if they attempt logging into their account from Absorb.

If you are a System Admin or Admin, you can circumvent this by going to the admin login URL for your Absorb account.
