There is a possibility some departments in Absorb may not have a corresponding department in ClearCompany. An Excel or CSV can be generated to compare departments between the two platforms. The list of missing departments can then be imported using the ClearCompany Department Import Tool or individually added in ClearCompany.
Follow the instructions below to export a list of your Absorb departments. You will need access to Absorb as a System Admin (all access user) or an Admin with permissions to export the list.
- Click the 2 person icon to the left of their dashboard and click Departments
- Once brought to the list of departments, click the list icon for the display columns next to the left of the Name header
- Check Name and External Id and deselect any other options
- Click the page icon to the left of the printer icon for Generate Report File
- Select either Excel or CSV (a CSV is recommended) and click Generate
- Select the option to View Generated Reported
- Click the gear icon on the left of the dashboard and click Generated Reports
- Check the correct report and click Download Report
