Private Note Overview

Employee Journal notes help users document events and insights that can inform performance evaluations. There are two types of notes:

| Private Notes | Shared Notes

Private notes are for personal use as they are only visible to the author.

Private Notes are useful for:

  • Recording  key accomplishments, challenges, or skills learned.
  • Keeping track of obstacles, such as a missed deadline due to external circumstances, for future self-evaluations.

Please note:

  • Private Notes are only visible to the author.
  • Shared Notes are only visible to the author and the recipient’s manager during the review process.
  • Notes are never visible to other colleagues at any time.
