You have two options to order background checks. You can use the integration directly through ClearCompany’s product or you can use the Checkr dashboard. We recommend using the integration but both options are available. Below are a few other reasons why you would want/need to use the Checkr dashboard:
- To view the applicant’s full background check report
- Adverse action process
- Admin settings
- Billing
- Adding new users
- Notifications
Invitation links
In addition to initiating the background checks on the ClearCompany platform, Admins can also locate invite links on the homepage of the Checkr dashboard. If you choose to do this directly via the Checkr dashboard, you will need to select the correct package and send this link to the applicants.
After an applicant submits their information and consents to the background check, their pending report is populated in the Candidates section of the dashboard.
Managing Users
Navigate to the Users tab in the Account Settings section of the dashboard. Admins can invite other users and delegate their status. Users can only view reports, Adjudicators can approve or pre-adverse applicants, Requesters can request reports, and Admins have complete dashboard access.
Invoices & Payment Options
Invoices are sent on the first week of each month and customers are billed for usage during the prior month. Invoices are listed on the ‘Invoices’ page of Account Settings section. Credit card and ACH information can be updated under the Payment Tab at any time. No credit card fees apply as long as your invoice is under $2,500. Checkr only accepts paper checks if your invoice is over $2,500 per month.
Please note that credit card and ACH payments are processed automatically, but customers will have a minimum of 72 hours to review the invoice before payments are initiated. For any discrepancies or have questions regarding invoices, email billing@checkr.com right away.
Email Notifications
On the first tab of Account Settings, each user can edit their own email notifications. Notifications can be enabled or disabled for when reports are created, suspended, clear, consider, or disputed. “Notify on dispute” is required for at least one Admin. All real time updates are also available directly in the dashboard.
