Users/Groups Overview
The Users/Groups section allows you to manage and assign users and groups within your learning platform. This section allows you to define the users and access to your learning platform.
Users and Groups Sections
This section allows superadmins to manage, edit, and create new users in your learning platform. Creating a user grants them access to your learning platform.
This section allows users to create and manage groupings. Groupings are a combination of existing conditions in the learning platform data with conditions that they have access to. Groupings can be created using conditions available within the Learning platform. Grouping are used when assigning assign and custom reports.
This section provides a visual which reflects the way your groups are organized in your learning platform. Different Groups do not have the ability to see the activity of another group. For example, HR, Payroll, Recruiting, will have their own group structures.
This section allows users to manage, create, and edit group types. Group Types are a way to categorize, organize and filter your groups. Some examples are Department, Job Title, Supervisor, Internal, External, Location, and Region.
This section allows users to create roles. Roles describe what a user will be allowed to view and what actions they are allowed to take in your learning platform. Each roles are created in the Learning platform to define what the specific rights/permissions are and the rights for each role can be customized based on preference. There are four default roles in the Learning platform:
- Superadmin
- Administrator
- Manager
- User
This section allows users to see a visual of what the rights/permissions you would want to provide to roles. Rights define what the users are able to access and act and can be as high as administrators who can have the most access to a user that can only use the front end with the options set.
