How is it used?
Use | Info |
---|---|
Upcoming Events | We advise using this feature to announce upcoming events. For example: training, holiday parties, benefits enrollment period starting, birthdays, anniversary reminders, or outings. |
Targeted Communication | Sometimes you only need to contact a specific department, location, or role for one particular set of news. |
Field/Remote Workers | Field or Remote workers do not have easy access to email. Texting them any updates regarding safety, weather changes, or location changes will have the best result. |
Open Postings |
When creating job postings, hiring internally or getting referrals is one of the best ways to improve the recruiting process. For example, Employee referrals have the highest applicant-to-hire conversion rate – only 7% apply but this accounts for 40% of all hires. |
Communicating with New Hires |
Text messages can help you keep your new hires informed and engaged through the entire process: reminding them of steps they need to take, due dates, and other important information that will let them hit the ground running in your company. |
Performance/Surveys |
You can use this tool to send performance cycle reminders to get employees engaged. You can also include a link to an active survey so employees are aware and can increase engagement. |
FAQ
The first thing to do is to make sure that the number listed for the employee is correct. From the summary page, you can also "download the list of failed message recipients" This will allow you to email the employees to make sure their personal number is listed correctly.
