E-commerce enables organizations to set prices for their learning objects. E-Commerce is an add-on feature; contact ClearCompany if interested. This article provides a guide on enabling e-commerce and available settings.

E-Commerce Overview

When E-commerce is enabled, users on the learning platform must purchase learning objects before launching and completing training.

Please Note:

If an organization wishes to have an internal group structure without e-commerce and an external group structure with e-commerce enabled, organizations must ensure the group structure is appropriately configured.

Access and Setup

Only super admin users can access the E-Commerce settings. To access the E-commerce:

  1. From the administration dashboard, click E-commerce.E-Commerce Option.png
  2. There are 3 options available:
    • Orders: Allow super admins to track placed orders.
    • Coupon Management:  Enables creation and management of coupon codes.
    • E-Commerce Settings: Customize e-commerce based on organizational goals.

Orders

The Orders dashboard allows super admins to view placed orders, including order status, payment type (PO, Credit, or Credits), and Object Name. 

  • For PO Orders, the status will be Pending upon submission.

  • For Credit Card Payments, the status will be Charged or Pending (based on Automated Credit Card Processing settings).

  • Click the pencil icon to review order details, then click “Acknowledge Order” to confirm. This does not affect user access to purchased items.

  • Order acknowledgment ensures clarity on order details, confirming products, quantities, pricing, and terms.Orders.png

Coupon Management

Coupon Management allows super admins to create and manage coupons for purchasing Objects or Credits at a discount. For more details, refer to ClearCompany Learning: Coupon Management.Coupon Management.png

Who has access to manage E-commerce settings?

Superadmin users will have access to the options available. Users can be given the following rights to provide access:

  • Ecommerce
  • Ecommerce - Manage Items
  • Ecommerce - Manager Orders
