Talent Communities: Building a Pipeline

Follow

Talent Communities allow Recruiters to leverage their library of past applicants to quickly generate a pipeline of qualified candidates for a new job opening. Building a strong pipeline begins with establishing interest and pre-screening the prospects, prior to converting them into active candidates for the position. In this article, we cover how to customize the sourcing criteria for a requisition to create its custom Talent Community.

Search Criteria

You have a couple of filtering options in your Talent Communities. It is expected that each set of criteria will be different for each job posting you have, so each of these is fully customizable on a per-requisition basis.

Keywords

Keywords will pull any keywords from the candidate profile. This includes the resume and application and is Boolean search supported.

Tags

Tags include Custom Tags - while candidates and prospects can be tagged with role and office location, those will live as separate filtering options in a Talent Community. Custom tags are assigned manually to the candidate/prospect by a recruiter. To learn more about tags, check out this article.

Role

Roles will include any roles that the prospect has applied to or has been assigned as a tag.

Location

Location includes the office location that the candidate/prospect applied to or was assigned and will include the physical address of the candidate. The filter will allow you to search for candidates within a certain radius of a zip code or office location.

Hiring Stage

The Hiring stage will allow you to include candidates in a particular workflow/disposition stage, or those who have been positively dispositioned.

Applied Date

Applied date will allow you to include candidates who applied to your company within a certain date range.

Grade

This will include any candidates who have a certain grade for the candidacy in question.
