Accessing ClearCo Through Proliant
ClearCo is embedded directly within the Proliant platform, so the experience appears as a native part of Proliant.
To access ClearCo:
- Log in to Proliant.
- Navigate to the Talent Acquisition tab.
- Select Applicant Tracking.
- Users will be routed into ClearCo ATS.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Proliant clients use Single Sign-On (SSO) to access ClearCo through the Proliant platform.
Recommendation
During implementation and testing, maintain at least one non-SSO administrator account for troubleshooting and backup access purposes.
SSO Requirements
For SSO to function correctly:
- The username field in ClearCo must match the user’s work email address in Proliant
- The username configured in ClearCo is used for authentication through Proliant.
- Usernames should not contain extra spaces or formatting inconsistencies.
If SSO Is Disabled, if Proliant SSO is turned off
- Users will need to log in manually.
- Users may need to reset their password using the “Forgot Password” option.
- No additional functionality is impacted.
Adding New Users
If a new user needs access to ClearCo through Proliant:
- Create the user in ClearCo.
- Contact the Proliant representative.
- Proliant will update the user’s account permissions for platform access.
Important
User accounts are not automatically created through the onboarding integration. Hiring managers and other users requiring access must be created manually.
Recruiting-only Proliant environments typically create candidate records only. A ClearCo user account may need to be manually created when:
- A newly hired employee requires ATS access as part of the HR or recruiting team.
- The organization has purchased additional ClearCo modules, such as LMS or Performance & Goals.
- Hiring managers or administrators require ongoing system access.
