ClearInsights tracks key recruiting activity across candidates and requisitions to help you understand team performance and workflow progress. Each activity attribute represents a specific action taken within the system. You can view these attributes in the ClearInsights dashboards and the Recruiter Activity Prebuilt Liveboard. This article defines each activity so you can interpret reporting data with confidence.

Activity - Candidates
These activities track how candidates move through the recruiting process. In the Recruiter Activity Prebuilt Liveboard, they appear in the Count of candidate processing activities chart.
- Text Sent: Number of text messages sent using ClearText, including messages sent through the app or forwarded to a phone. To learn more, refer to ClearText.
- Reviewed: The number of times the recruiter moved candidates out of the “New Applicant” Workflow stage.
- Emails Sent: The number of email messages sent to candidates through the ClearCompany app, including any replies. Emails are counted even if delivery fails.
- Dispositioned: The number of times the recruiter moved candidates into the “Dispositioned” Workflow stage.
- Notes Taken: The number of notes created for candidates, including any replies.
- Screened: The number of times the recruiter moved candidates out of the “Screening” Workflow Stage.
- Interviewed: The number of times the recruiter moved candidates out of the “Interviewing” Workflow Stage.
- Offer Made: The number of times the recruiter moved candidates out of the “Offer” Workflow Stage.
- Offer Letter Sent: The number of offer letters to candidates.
- Actively Sourced: The number of manually uploaded candidates. This includes imports (each imported candidate is counted as 1), LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect (RSC). This does not include any forwarded candidates.
- Hired: The number of times the recruiter moved candidates into the “Hired” Workflow Stage.
Activity - Requisitions
These activities track changes and actions related to requisitions. In the Recruiter Activity Prebuilt Liveboard, they appear in the Count of requisition activities chart.
- Opened: The number of times requisition status was changed to “Open”.
- Drafts Created: The number of times requisitions were saved as a “Draft”.
- Closed: The number of times requisition status was changed to “Closed”.
- Put On Hold: The number of times requisition status was changed to “On Hold”.
- New Requests Created: Requisitions created via the A-Method. Requisitions are placed on New Requests when a Hiring Manager needs to send for approval.
- Sent For Approval: The number of times the recruiter sent requisitions for approval. A count is recorded each time a requisition enters the 'Pending Approval' status, regardless of the number of approvers.
- Templates Created: The count of templates the recruiter created.
- Templates Deleted: The count of templates the recruiter deleted.
- Deleted: The number of times requisitions were deleted.
- Approvals Rejected: The number of times a recruiter's requisitions were rejected by approvers during the approval process. A count is recorded each time a requisition changes from “Pending Approval” to “Rejected”, regardless of the number of approvers.
- Updates: Any saved change to a requisition, including edits to fields, job descriptions, posting details, status, or goals. Saving without changes still counts as an update.
- Created: The number of times a requisition was created, regardless of status.
- Positions Filled: The number of times a candidate was moved into the “Hired” Workflow Stage.
- Posted Publicly: The count of times the recruiter manually posted requisitions to a public job board. To be counted as publicly posted, the job must be manually updated by navigating to the Requisition Details → Job Boards → Edit Posting Options → Enable 'Public Career Site' → Save Updates. Requisitions created and posted through the requisition creation process are not counted as publicly posted unless manually updated as described.
- Notes Added: The number of times a note was created for a requisition.
FAQ
The Hired activity is counted only when a recruiter manually moves a candidate into the Hired workflow. If automation moves a candidate into Hired (for example, after offer acceptance), this action is not counted in the Recruiter Activity Report
The Recruiter Activity Report is designed to measure direct recruiter actions. Because automation performs the workflow change, the system cannot reliably attribute that action to a specific recruiter.
