- Select SCORM/AICC.
- Select Bulk Import.
- Next, select the Owner Group of the file. Additionally, you may add: Title Prefix and Suffix here as well. Only the Owner Group is required. Ensure that the Status is selected as Active. When done, click Next.
- Select one or more authors if desired. These can be selected from system users or from faculty. This step is optional, click Next when done.
- Choose Object Tags as applicable. This step is optional, click Next when done.
- If you would like the content to be automatically assigned to a set of users or groups, choose the Users and Groups here. This is step is optional, click Next when done.
- Upload the Master Zip SCORM file. Select Choose File, then Upload File, this can take a minute or two. Each course must be a valid SCORM/AICC file in zip-format. Each Course must contain a valid imsmanifest.xml or * .au manifest file. Once the upload has been processed, click Next.
- You will see a message when the import is successful. Once complete, click the X in the top right-hand corner.
- Navigate back to Manage Objects and search for the SCORM files that were just created. Now you can assign or grant access to them and test them.
F.A.Q.
Unzip the SCORM file, locate the file type that isn’t allowed (provided in the error message), delete the file, save, and rezip it. Take the updated file and upload it to ClearCompany Learning.
If you are not sure how to unzip a SCORM file, you need 1 single SCORM file:
- Right-click on that file, and select Extract All.
- Save the folder (unzipped file) somewhere you can access it.
- Open that file, select all of the files, including the imsmanifest.xml file, and right-click again.
- Select send to a compressed zip file. Take that new file and upload it either to ClearCompany Learning or to SCORM cloud to test it.
SuperAdmin can bulk import SCORM objects.
Each SCORM course should be zipped into one master zip file. Maximum file size is 2 GB.
