Custom Fields
Candidate and Requisition Custom Fields can also be included. To add custom fields, the prebuilt liveboard must be duplicated.
| Attribute | Origin | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Department | Requisition | The department is populated from the requisition in the administrative info section. |
| Requisition Office | Requisition | The office is populated from the requisition in the administrative info section. |
| Requisition Title | Requisition | Requisition Title is populated from the requisition job title field. |
| Daily Apply Date | Application | The Apply Date populates from the candidate profile when the candidate begins the apply process or when the candidate was created. |
| Requisition ID | Requisition |
Depending on your system settings, requisition ID will be either the auto-populated requisition ID or the user-provided requisition ID. When the auto-populate is enabled, ClearCompany assigns the ID upon the requisition's initial save. Requisition IDs must be unique across the organization and cannot be reused, even for unposted or deleted requisitions and templates. |
| Stage | Workflow | The name of the Stage the candidate was moved into at the specific time recorded in "Entered Stage Date". |
| Application Status | Application | The application status is captured from the candidate profile based on whether or not the candidate has submitted their application. The status will display as either Complete or Incomplete. |
| Application Completion Date | Application | It displays MM/DD/YYYY for candidates whose Application Status = Complete; it displays {Null} values for candidates whose Application Status = Incomplete. |
| Candidate | Application | The First and Last name is populated from the candidate profile. This is either when the candidate completes the application or if a resume is uploaded. |
| Candidate Source | Application | Candidate Source is populated from the candidate profile and indicates where the candidate applied from, such as a job board or referral. This is automatically recorded when they apply, but it can also be manually added or updated in the candidate’s profile. |
| Requisition Role | Requisition | The role is populated from the requisition role dropdown field. |
F.A.Q.
The Application Completion liveboard will always reflect the current application status, not the historical status at the time.
No. Candidates are only marked as complete if they finish all the steps in the application—whether that’s one step or multiple steps.
If the liveboard shows a candidate as “incomplete,” but their application status bar in the candidacy record shows “complete,” it may be caused by a “Wait for Recruiter Input” rule at the end of the application.
For two-part applications, only candidates who complete Part 2 are considered “complete.” Recommendations:
- Configure workflow rules so candidates are automatically placed into stages that reflect their progress, for example:
- Applicant Completed Part 1
- Applicant Has Fully Completed Application (Part 2)
- If organizations prefer a simpler setup, they can rely on the Application Completion Status and Application Completion Rate attributes, which track completion based on Part 2.
Use ClearInsights to view application progress at a detailed level:
- Set up workflow stages that mirror each step of the application process.
- Configure rules to automatically move candidates into the matching stage once they complete each step.
- Use ClearInsights to:
- Track where candidates drop off.
- Monitor completion percentages by stage.
- Drill down to candidate-level data.
