Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Workflow automation: Workflow stage automation can now be applied based on candidates accepting or declining multi-interview times and based on accepting a 1:1 screening time. Review this article to learn how to set up automation on your workflows.

Performance Reviews

  • Required comments: Performance administrators can now make comments on performance reviews using Standard Sections, required for participants. Note: This change will not impact currently active review cycles. Read here for more information.

User Import

  • Import speed: The user import tool has been updated to improve import speed.

Recruiting

  • Shared candidate data: Shared candidate data, such as background check results, offer letters, and assessment test results can now be seen on all candidacies (requisitions) that the applicant has applied to. Find out how to enable this setting on your account here.

Device and Equipment Management

  • Decommissioning equipment: IT Admins can now mark devices and equipment as "decommissioned" - AKA no longer available for employee use.

Multi-Brand Organizations

  • Onboarding packets: If multi-branding is enabled, placeholders for the appropriate brand logo can now be added in to the new hire packet email template(s).

Role management

  • Roles menu visibility: Organizations can now choose to disable the Roles menu (roles library) visibility for non-admin users. This is particularly useful if role titles do not necessarily align with employee expectations or if upcoming organization changes are not publicized yet. Please contact your ClearCompany representative if you would like to enable or disable access to the roles menu.

Interviewing

  • Interview Scheduling: Recruiters can now indicate what type of interview (phone, in-person, or virtual meeting) when scheduling interviews, so candidates have insight into what type of interview they will be participating in. This option is available for all interview types, including screening interviews.

Multi-Brand organizations

  • Onboarding packets: If multi-branding is enabled, the logo and accompanying branding specifications are enabled in the email templates and packets associated with the new hire's onboarding experience.

System experience

  • Faster load speed for org chart:  The organization chart has been updated to load faster regardless of organization size and hierarchy.

Recruiting

  • Candidate notes: Candidate notes now display in real-time if a recruiter and hiring manager are viewing the candidate profile at the same time. In addition, any recruiters and hiring managers associated with a candidate profile/requisition now receive in-app notifications (if enabled) if a relevant note is left on a candidate or requisition they have access to.

Multi-brand organizations

  • New hire experience: For organizations that have multiple brands, the correct brand logo displays on the new hire welcome screen and in the rest of the new hire in-app experience. In addition, the correct logo now displays on the "items due" reminder email for onboarding task assignees.

Multi-Brand Organizations

  • Offer letters: Previously, for organizations that have multiple career sites/brands, the offer letter management emails (such as Offer letter approvals, offer accepted, etc.) were displayed with parent company branding. They now display with the child org branding for whichever child org they were launched from.

  • Interview scorecard emails: For organizations that have multiple brands tied to multiple career sites, internal interview notifications (e.g. "interview feedback completed by manager," "interview feedback reminder," etc. emails) reflect the child org name tied to the requisition in question, not the parent org name.
  • Requisition emails: For organizations that have multiple brands tied to multiple career sites, requisition notifications (e.g. "requisition approval requested," "requisition approval rejected" etc. emails) reflect the child org name tied to the requisition in question, not the parent org name.

ADP Bi-Directional Connector

  • Sync buttons added: We've added buttons that will allow administrators to sync outstanding changes for their organization, or sync a user to help reduce the volume of data and shorten the sync process.
  • Sync enhancements: New hires that are onboarded into ClearCompany via the Bi-directional Connector can now optionally receive Performance Management and Alignment permissions when they are synced.

Custom Data Walls

  • Recruiter access: Now only recruiters within their data segment are available to @ tag in the candidate notes in that segment's requisitions.

Recruiting

  • Interview Scorecards: Questions can now be set to "optional" in interview scorecard templates. Questions marked as optional will not have an impact on the overall score of the scorecard when answered.

Multi-Brand Career Sites

  • Logos: Previously, applications tied to child or subsidiary org applications would use the parent org logo. Now, applications will use the child org logo (if applicable) when displaying for candidates.

  • A-Method Requisition Creation: When creating a job requisition using the A-method, you can now add file attachments to the job requisition.

Multi-Brand Career Sites

  • Text to apply: Now, when sending text messages using Text to Apply, the branding you have chosen for the job requisition will apply to the text messages in automated candidate messaging.

Performance Reviews

  • Auto-saving: Performance reviews now auto-save as participants complete them.

Surveys

  • Anonymity settings:  Surveys now have adjustable anonymity settings: Anonymous (no data collected), Semi-anonymous (department, office, and role data collected), and Not anonymous (all data collected).
  • Closure: Survey admins can now manually close a survey at any time.

ADP Bi-Directional Connector

  • Enhancements: You can now elect to exclude Departments or Employees by company code in ADP Workforce Now and by pay group or legal entity ID (company code) in ADP Vantage. This can be done during the initial setup of the bi-directional connector and impacts the displayed departments and employees in subsequent steps. In addition to this, improvements have been made to overall system performance in the setup wizard.
  • ADP Vantage Federal Tax Information: We now send federal tax information from ClearCompany to ADP via the federal tax outbound integration for new hires.

Security

  • Two-factor authentication enhancements: Username and password is required to make changes to two-factor authentication from within your account. If two factor is required for your organization- we ask for your username and password if you choose to change your authentication method to text message, email message and app-based authentication. If two factor is not required for your organization- we ask for your username and password if you choose to disable two factor authentication.

  • Review visibility customization for Express Reviews: When creating an Express cycle there is now a section to control visibility of completed reviews. By default visibility is enabled for each type of user but they can be excluded. The options are as follows:
    • Traditional Performance, 360s & QoO:
      • Review Subject
      • Review Subject’s Manager
      • Review Subject’s Manager’s Manager
      • Performance Admin
    • Quality of Hire:
      • Review Subject’s Manager
      • Review Subject’s Manager’s Manager
      • Performance Admin
    • In addition, 360s have an additional new setting to “group and anonymize” for everyone viewing the results

  • Permissions: You can now control the basic permissions assigned to all employees being synced in the initial setup of the bi-directional connector. These can be assigned and toggled on the Employee screen of the setup wizard.

  • Rehiring employees: Previously, there was no clear indication if a candidate was formerly employed. Now, recruiters can see a yellow banner on the candidate profile if the applicant is a former employee.

  • Notes enhancement: There is now a "notes" field in the device & equipment bulk import tool.

Offer letters

  • Broken images:  The system will now proactively check if there are any broken image links in an offer letter PDF before it is generated. This will prevent generation failures when broken images are present in the offer letter template.

Login

  • Language update: The "forgot password" language on the login screen has been updated for added security (so as not to indicate if an account has an associated email or not). 

Reporting & Analytics

  • New! Recruiter Activity Report:  This report aims to give Recruiting Admins an overview of what their recruiting team is spending their time on. Organizations can now see which recruiters are performing the most and least actions within ClearCompany. Event types captured include (but are not limited to): emails sent to candidate, texts sent to candidate, workflow stage changes, requisitions posted, and offer letters sent.

  • Requisition creation: Previously, when a requisition was created there was only an option to replace an Active employee. Now, there is the ability to replace either Active or Terminated employees.

Reporting & Analytics

  • New! Requisition data report: There is a new report available in the Recruiting reports center that will allow a recruiting administrator to download and export a report that includes relevant requisition data, including: all standard and custom requisition fields that appear in the requisition list view, plus filters that include open date, days open, department, manager, recruiter and status. This will be especially helpful for organizations with high requisition volume.

Performance Management

  • 360 review results export: 360 review data can now be exported via a bulk action either on the list view or through a download on the performance results page. The fields included on this data export are identitcal to those in a standard review results export. The primary difference between the two is that the results can be anonymized when the restriction is in place for admins in the Advanced Settings portion of the review cycle launch process. In addition, clicking to download the data will also send an email with the results attached to the admin who clicked to export the data.

  • JobTarget posting: We have enhanced our integration with JobTarget so jobs posted through this partner can be posted to multiple career sites (if applicable). This will allow you to take advantage of our partnership with JobTarget if you have multiple brands your company posts jobs for.
  • Candidate notices: Candidate notices (such as "Internal" or "Former Employee" that appear as tags next to the candidate name in the system) are automatically added, but can now be edited by recruiters.

    • Filtering to different review cycles or all 360 cycles
    • Filtering by department, office, manager, etc.

  • Emails: Previously, recruiting emails sent to hiring managers, recruiters, approvers, or other system users had an email display name of "ClearCompany." This has been updated so that the display name is now "<org name> or <initiator name> via ClearCompany Talent Management."
  • Custom Fields: Now, up to 20 custom fields can be added to recruiting reports/ analytics.
