In order for new hires to transfer over from ClearCompany to Chick-fil-A Home Payroll, two onboarding forms must be completed both by the new hire and internally.

  1. Federal W-4
  2. Chick-fil-A Personal Data & Emergency Contact with the Payroll Fields
  3. (If applicable) State Tax form

Sending a New Hire

When a new hire moves to a particular workflow stage, then it will automatically trigger to send to your payroll. Follow the steps below to send your new hire.

  1. After confirming that the forms above have been completed, Navigate to the candidate's profile. You can use the Search bar at the top of ClearCompany or go to Tools > Recruiting > Candidates > Hired.Hire.png
  2. Select the Move Forward workflow drop-down.Move Forward.png
  3. Select the stage called 'Hired - Sent to Payroll' to trigger the new hire to send to your payroll.Hired Sent to Payroll.png

Checking Data Transfer Status

Once you trigger the transfer to payroll, there are three ways that you can see the status of the transfer:

  1. Review the email notification sent to you.
  2. By looking at the workflow stage that their candidate profile moves to under Tools > Recruiting, as shown below.
  3. In the candidate profile under the Hire tab then 'Integrations'.Result.png
Partial Transfers

Chick-fil-A accepts partial transfers. What this means is that if a field they don’t require is missing they will still send over the new hire “with warnings” to be updated in Chick-fil-A. These will show as Successful transfers in ClearCompany.

The email notification that is sent to you will provide you details of the transfer (i.e. if it is partial and what information was missing or the reason why it failed). You can also find this information in the candidate profile under the Hire tab then 'Integrations.'
