The secure file center is a way for clients to upload and receive files that contain sensitive or private information. They can both upload files so ClearCo employees can securely retrieve them, or download files that an employee uploaded for them.

A user must be either a User Admin, HR Admin, or IT Admin.
Secure File Center Overview
There are two options when navigating to Secure File Center:
- User-Uploaded Files: Files that you have uploaded. You will only see files you have uploaded or that were shared by ClearCo staff. This is also where ClearCo securely shares files with you.

System Generated Files: Any file generated as a result of a file export request will be listed here. ClearCo will send an email notification when a file is ready. All system-generated files are kept for 30 days. Some system-generated files are:
- User Exports
- Compensation Data
- Employment History
- Bulk upload with CSV
Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) Add-On
Allows secure file transfers from an external system to create or update records in ClearCo. Contact your ClearCo representative to enable this add-on. Set up access is restricted to IT Admins.

The file limit is 10mb.
Retrieve A File Uploaded For You

Navigate to Tools > Setup >Secure File Center.
- You will see any available files in the list.
- Click the file name to download.
Delete Files

To delete a file from the Secure File Center, click the X on the right-hand side.

A confirmation window will appear; click Delete File. This will delete it permanently from your file list, as well as ClearCo; it deletes it everywhere. This action cannot be undone.
