ADP Bi-Directional: Add the ClearCompany App to the homepage of your ADP account

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED: To access your ClearCompany account, you will need to be logged into your ADP WFN account. The ClearCompany app can be found in the ADP Marketplace, this article will guide you on how to add a quick link to the home screen of your ADP WFN account so you can easily access ClearCompany.

Please Note:

You will need to be the administrator of your ADP WFN account to complete these steps.

Access ClearCompany & Save URL 

Follow these instructions to access your ClearCompany account. Once you are logged into ClearCompany, copy the URL for the homescreen of your ClearCompany account.  

• Please note: you will want to save this URL for a future step. It is recommended you keep this tab open.

Adding to the Homepage

The ClearCompany App can be added to your homepage, it will be visible to users as soon as they log in.

You have a couple of options to add it to your homepage. In the steps below, we guide you on adding it as it's a separate tile.

Add Tile

1. From the homepage, select "Configure Homepage".
2. You can add the app to an already existing tile, just locate the tile you would like to add it to, for this example, we will be adding it as a new tile. Select Add New Tile.
3. Fill out the information below to complete the tile:
   • 1. Tile Title: This is for the overall title of the tile on the homepage.
   • 2. Description: If you would like to add a description on the tile. For example, HR.
   • 3. Start Date/End Date: This is the date you would like the tile to display on the homepage, you can also set an end date if you would like.
   • 4. Visibility: This will allow you to select who can see the tile. You can select Standard Employees.
   • 5. Content: You can select Rich Text or Links, if you would like the logo to appear, select Rich Text.
   • 6. Tile Size: This lets you customize the tile and how big you would like it to be on the homepage.
4. This Tile Title is for the specific tile that you would like to add, different for each app you select to add.
5. If you selected Rich Text, select the image icon.
6. You can drag or browse for the image, if you haven't done so, download the image above and upload it.
7. When the image is uploaded, select the link icon.
8. Using the URL from above, enter it in the URL and select if you would like this to open in a new tab. When done select Insert.
9. When done, select Save.
10. When saved, you can reorder the tiles as you like to customize your homepage.

Add the ClearCompany App to the Tools/References

You can also add the app to your general Tools/References. Follow the instructions below.

Add ClearCompany App

1. In your ADP WFN account, click on your initials in the top-right-hand corner.
2. Select "Configuration".
3. Under "Select Pages" choose Tools/References.
4. Select Human Resources.
5. Click Add.
6. Add the name of the Identifier, ClearCompany in this case.
7. Under Assign Profiles, select "Standard Employee" or any user profiles who should have access to ClearCompany. Once selected click the right arrow.
8. Scroll down to the box editor and select the image icon.
9. Select the Upload Tab.
   •  Select Files and choose the file you downloaded above.
   • Then select the Upload button.
   • Set the height and width of the image.
   • When done click Set.
10. Highlight the ClearCompany App image and click on the link button.
    • Paste the URL from step one into the URL field. This URL should be https://[YourShortname].clearcompany.com 
      • You will have a unique domain name in the [YourShortname] part of the URL.
    • Click Set.
11. Then click Done.
12. Click Save.
13. A green banner will appear alerting you that the content was saved.

Find the App

App

1. From the Dashboard, Click Resources.
2. Click Tools/References.
3. Under HR Resources, you will see the ClearCompany App.

Step 4: Test to Confirm it works!

1. Click on the ClearCompany App, and confirm this opens up your ClearCompany account.
