ADP Bi-Directional: Assign the ClearCompany App to Users for SSO Login

Follow

Organizations utilizing the ADP Bi-Directional Connector have several options for configuring the users' login method. The default login method is to utilize Single Sign On (SSO) with ADP, this means that your employees will log into ClearCompany using their ADP account credentials. To streamline the login process, a ClearCompany app can be added to your organization's ADP homepage for the users to access with one click.

Usage of this app is optional and not required for your users to access ClearCompany when your login method is through SSO with ADP. To learn about all of the login methods available to organizations with the ADP Bi-Directional Connector, review this article.

    • Click Next.

    • Review your selections and then click Submit to assign the app.

Troubleshooting App Assignment

If you are unable to assign users to the app, one of two things could be occurring. Either not all employees are listed as available users to assign the app to, or you are not the owner of the app. Follow the recommendations below to resolve either scenario.

Making Users Available to Receive the App

In order to assign the ClearCompany app to an employee in ADP, the employee has to have accessed the ADP App Store before. Direct the employee to log into their ADP Workforce Now account and then access the ADP app store at this site: https://apps.adp.com/home.

Becoming the Owner of the App

If you are unable to assign users to the ClearCompany app, it is likely you are not the owner of the app. By default, whoever purchased the ADP Bi-Directional Connector [HYPERLINK] is the owner of the app. Below are instructions for a new user to take ownership of the app.

  1. In the ADP Marketplace search for and locate the ClearCompany - ADP Workforce Now Bi-Directional Connector App.
  2. Click the Settings Icon and select Take Ownership.
