Requisitions Tab
The requisitions tab is home to all of your job requisitions in ClearCompany Recruiting. In this tab, you are able to:
- Create new job postings.
- Manage specific requisitions.
- Manage Candidates in a specific requisition.
Below is what you will find in the Requisitions Tab.
This dropdown will allow a Recruiter to select to see the requisitions they manage or to see all the requisitions in the system.
This option allows users to search for a specific requisition based on the filters set.
This option allows users to create a requisition. To learn about the options, see below.
This allows users to sort the requisitions by status. When you arrive at this page, it will default to open requisitions. Click on the different tabs to see requisitions in different statuses. The statuses displayed are:
- Total Requisitions: This will list all of your requisitions, including drafts and deleted requisitions.
- Draft: Draft requisitions are requisitions you have begun creating but haven't finished. A requisition will be saved as a draft if you begin the creation process and close it out.
- New Requests: These are any requisitions that require your approval.
- Pending Approval: These are any requisitions you own that are currently in the approval process.
- Open: These are requisitions that are open and may or may not be posted.
- On Hold: These are requisitions that are technically open but are being held from posting.
- Rejected: Any requisitions you own that have been rejected in an approval process.
-
Closed: All of your closed requisitions live here.
This allows users to modify the display of their requisitions tab so they can see the most pertinent information upfront. The default display options are:
- Requisition
- Requisition Status
- # Days Open
- Active Candidates
- Total Candidates
- Furthest Workflow
- Hiring Manager
- Recruiter
- Department
- Office
To edit the requisition display, click Edit My Columns on the right-hand side of the page under the Closed widget.
Why can't I remove some of the options? Some columns are hard-coded onto the page and cannot be removed. For example, in the case of the requisition title, you'll want to keep this here so you know which requisition you're looking at.

Creating a Requisition Options
As a Recruiter or a Hiring Manager, you can create job requisitions to begin your search for candidates. There are many ways to customize your job requisitions so that you can find the right candidates for the role you are hiring for. The following methods can be used to create a job requisition.
If your organization’s roles are created with competencies and goals (per the A-Method of hiring), we recommend using the A-method requisition creation process. This process will automatically pull the goals and competencies tied to the role and requisition, right into your scorecards and guides for your interviewers. To learn more check out: Creating a Job Requisition: A-Method of Hiring.
The simple form option simplifies the requisition creation process into one form. It is used to get all of your job posting details in quickly and easily to get the job posted as soon as possible. To learn more check out: Creating a Job Requisition: Simple Form.
If you find yourself posting the same content over and over again when recruiting across offices or in an expanding team requisition templates come in handy. Rather than manually typing out each requisition or copying and pasting from an old one into a new one, Requisition Templates allow you to use an existing requisition as a basis for any new ones that are created for a Role by automatically populating information into the new requisition. To learn more check out: Introduction to Requisition Templates.
Posting Options
Once you have created your requisition you can then proceed to post your requisition. To learn more check out: Post a Job Requisition.
