What is the AI-Assisted Virtual Recruiter for Career Sites
The Virtual Recruiter acts as a conversational chatbot on Career Sites, engaging with potential candidates to help them navigate job opportunities effectively. Its primary functions include interacting with website visitors and optimizing the application process. By leveraging this AI-assisted virtual recruiter, applicants can:
-
Interact with and receive assistance from the chatbot 24/7.
-
Seamlessly transition from website visitors to job candidates based on their profiles.
-
Enhance recruiters' efficiency by simplifying applications, screening responses, and scheduling interviews promptly.
The Virtual Recruiter offers a chat-based interface for Career Site visitors. The Chatbot engages candidates when they land on your site, aiming to save recruiters time and make it easy for visitors to become candidates. The chatbot assesses visitor qualifications by asking knockout questions and, when suitable, helps them schedule an initial screen/interview. These interactions not only save the recruiters time but also reduce unnecessary candidate interactions, enhancing the recruitment process.
What does it accomplish?
-
Become a Candidate:
-
Applicants can upload supporting documents when prompted and easily upload resumes, which are then parsed to extract contact information.
- Applicants will answer Knockout Questions when prompted, with the chatbot guiding them through relevant questions to filter out unqualified applicants.
-
-
Scheduling an Interview:
- Applicants can review date and time options using the Recruiter's Calendar Integration to select a convenient time for a screen or interview.
- Ask for opt-ins for future notifications for other job openings and texting.
How does it work
The Virtual Recruiter interacts with applicants via a chat-based interface on Career Sites, initiating conversations with applicants upon their site arrival. By posing knockout questions, the chatbot assesses candidate qualifications and, when appropriate, assists in scheduling initial screens or interviews. This approach saves recruiters time and enhances the candidate experience by reducing unnecessary interactions and improving the recruitment funnel.
Please note:
The experience will vary based on how you handle the apply process for your requisition.
- When an applicant visits your career site and clicks on a job posting, they will be redirected to the job description, where the virtual recruiter chatbot will appear.
- The chatbot will inquire if the applicant needs assistance in becoming a candidate. The applicant selects "Start".
- If a resume is required, applicants will be prompted to upload one. If not, they can skip this step.
-
Resumes are parsed for First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, and Email Address. Applicants are asked to confirm the accuracy of this information.
-
If ClearText is used, applicants are asked if they wish to receive text message notifications. If ClearText is not utilized, the bot will rely on email. To learn more about ClearText, check out this article.
-
Applicants are asked if the chatbot can submit an application on their behalf for the job. Please note: the visitor becomes a candidate in ClearCompany, and if the job requires filling out the application, the recruiter will have to direct them to do that at a later point.
-
If knockout questions are part of the application process, they will be asked at this stage.
-
Knockout Questions process:
-
The Virtual Recruiter thanks the person for their interest and notes a Recruiter will be in touch should their application move forward (a soft disengagement). The visitor does not become a candidate in your system and the candidate data is removed.
-
-
If self-interview scheduling and calendar integration are in place, applicants can schedule an interview by selecting from available time slots. If a candidate KnockOuts they will not have the opportunity to schedule an interview.
-
Applicants are asked about their interest in being considered for future positions.
-
The final message displayed to the applicant is "Thank you! A recruiter will be in touch with you shortly."
-
If a candidate visits your site, interacts with the chatbot, and fails a knockout question, their information will not be retained, and they will not enter the system.
-
Successful candidates who pass knockout questions will have their data stored in the ClearCompany System.
- ClearCompany scrapes basic information from a resume if they upload one (i.e. contact information)
- For privacy, after 8 minutes of inactivity, the Virtual Recruiter will forget the applicant and treat them like a new applicant.
