UKG Pro Bi-Directional Connector & System of Record Overview

The UKG Pro Bi-Directional Connector and UKG System of Record (SoR) is an integration that allows data to flow from UKG Pro to ClearCompany. As data changes are made in UKG the ClearCompany system updates, providing a bi-directional integration between. UKG Pro clients can utilize ClearCompany's performance product suite without double data entry. What is the UKG Pro Bi-Directional Connector?

The UKG Pro Bi-Directional Connector updates data as changes are made in UKG Pro to ClearCompany. This connector works with the System of Record and the UKG Pro New Hire Integration to handle data transfer from the two systems. 

What is the UKG System of Record (SoR)?

This integration will sync the necessary system of record data from UKG Pro to ClearCompany and update data as changes are made in UKG, providing a bi-directional integration between both systems. The System of Record helps populate and keep foundational data aligned between both systems.

UKG has updated the name of a product: UKG Dimensions will now be UKG Pro Workforce Management. This will live under the same umbrella as UKG Pro but not combine the products. If you were using UKG Dimensions, and are being transitioned to the UKG Pro umbrella, you can NOT use our Bi-Di Integration.

1. You must be on UKG Pro.
2. To take full advantage of the integration we recommend ClearCompany Onboarding.

Setup Steps for UKG SoR

In order to be able to set up the UKG SoR, you will need the IT Admin or HR Admin permissions.

1. Before starting to set up the integration, you will be responsible for completing the following items in your UKG Account:  If you need help locating this information, please see this help center article.
   1. Finding your UKG Pro Customer API Key
   2. Creating the Service Account
   3. Finding your UKG Web Service Domain
2. Complete any changes to company structure data (roles, departments, offices, users) in ClearCompany to ensure the information can be connected and synced. This article will help you in the process; Data Synchronization. 
3. Once you purchase the UKG System of Record, ClearCompany will move forward in the setup process.

What permissions are needed to access the UKG Integration?

HR Admin or IT Admin

Does the data take a while to load when accessing it for the first time after setup?

Yes - up to 24 hours

Can you make changes to the sync after the process is complete?

The only change available after the sync has completed is the toggle to sync Job Titles to Roles.
