What is Compensation Benchmarking?
The compensation benchmarking feature allows recruiters and hiring managers to ensure salaries are fair and competitive by viewing the compensation data for the role and location of a requisition.
Compensation data that is pulled into the feature displays the bottom 10% to the top 90% of salaries in order to facilitate a wide range of options for users to choose from
Note: Compensation benchmarking may also be referred to as “pay scale” in certain organizations.
How to Use:
Permissions: Users with Recruiter permissions can create a requisition with compensation data.
- Start by creating a new requisition. The article on creating a requisition can be found Here
- Select a Role for the requisition from the drop-down box.
3. Make sure the location of the role is selected in the “Office” drop-down box
4. The Payscale Salary Benchmark Box will populate compensation data based on your selected role and location filters
5. Finish setting the details of your requisition and post it.
