Modifying the details of your user profile, preferences, account settings, and credit cards in ClearCompany can all be done in the "My Account" area. Here, you will be able to update your information, modify your account settings (such as email signature and notification settings), sync your ClearCompany account with other services, and manage payment options for requisition sponsorships.

Accessing your Account

  1. Select the Profile Icon in the upper right-hand corner of the top navigation bar.

      If you have not uploaded a profile picture to your account, this icon will display as a blue bubble with your initials.

  2. Select My Account from the drop-down menu.

 

Add or Change Your Profile Picture

  1. To add or change your Profile Picture, select the image at the top of the page. It will say "Change Picture" when you hover over it with your mouse.

      Note: If you haven't previously uploaded an image, this will be a blue bubble with your initials.

  2. Select Choose Picture to upload an image file from your device, or select Take Picture to take a picture using your device's camera.

    Note:

    At this time, JPG files only.

  3. You may crop and re-position the photo as needed. A preview image is displayed on the right. When finished, select Save.

 

Details Tab

On the Details tab, you are able to update personal information as it is used within ClearCompany.

  If your organization uses ADP as ClearCompany's System of Record, you will notice that many of these fields cannot be updated. In this case, personal information will need to be updated in ADP and that will sync over to ClearCompany.

You can update the following:

  • First Name (Preferred or Legal)
  • Middle Name (Preferred or Legal)
  • Last Name (Preferred or Legal)
  • Name Pronunciation (See below)
  • Email Address (Work or Personal)
  • Work Phone
  • Mobile Phone
  • Password

If you want to update your Title or Username, please contact your organization's ClearCompany Administrator.

Name Pronunciation

On the Details tab, you also have the ability to update your name pronunciation.

Clicking this link will open a window that will allow you to use your device to record an audio clip of how to pronounce your name.

To record a clip, click Record. When you are finished, click Stop Recording & Playback to hear the recording you just made. Once you are satisfied, click Upload Recording to ClearCompany.

 

Preferences Tab

On the Preferences tab, you can update notification settings, visual settings, your signature for emails that originate in ClearCompany, and change what information is shared with your colleagues. Open the menu below for details regarding the settings shown on this tab.

Preference Settings
  1. Email Notifications
    • Enable or disable New Applicant Report emails (recruiters and hiring managers, only)
  2. Email Signature
  3. Calendar Format
    • Select what format Calendar items will be sent to you from the system
  4. Time Zone
    • Set your times zone for scheduling meetings/interviews with ClearCompany
  5. Birthday Sharing
    • Toggle whether or not you want your birthday to be shared with your colleagues
      • When enabled, this will only share the Month and Day of your birthday
  6. Phone number (Work and mobile) Sharing
    • There are three visibility options for sharing your phone numbers within ClearCompany
      • Hide from Everyone
      • Share with my Colleagues
      • Share with my Colleagues and New Hires joining my Team

 

Accounts Tab

On the Accounts tab, you are able to sync your ClearCompany account with other services on the web. Depending on your organization's settings, users are able to sync a calendar, video conferencing account, and personal LinkedIn Recruiter account with ClearCompany. Read on for more details.

 

Calendar Integration

  If your organization is using the Bulk Calendar Connect system, then the Calendar Integration option will not appear on your Accounts page.

Virtual Conference Service Integration

Once you have an integrated calendar, you will be able to connect a video conferencing account. Connecting a conferencing service allows you to utilize the auto-generated virtual meeting links for your screenings and 1:1 interviews. 

 

Finally, if your organization has the LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect (RSC) integration enabled, you are able to link your personal LinkedIn Recruiter account with ClearCompany. This is an optional step that enables a new LinkedIn InMail widget to appear on the candidate profile in ClearCompany. Please note, InMail history already displays on the Candidate Profile page by default as a result of a successfully connected RSC integration.

 

Managing Credit Cards Tab

On the Manage Credit Cards tab, you can add payment methods to yourClearCompany account to be used when sponsoring requisitions on public job boards. Check out this article for more information regarding Credit Cards on your ClearCompany account.

  The Manage Credit Cards tab is only visible to Hiring Managers and Recruiters. If your organization utilizes the advanced job sponsorship program of JobTarget Enterprise, this tab will not be visible as your payment methods are managed within the JobTarget platform.

 

Two-Factor Authentication Tab

If your organization has enabled Two-Factor Authentication for user login, each user will see a related tab in their My Account area. Here, the user can configure the authentication method associated with their ClearCompany account.

Setting Up your Two-Factor Authentication Method

  1. Access your Account Settings area.
  2. Click Setup Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Enter your account login credentials.

  4. Select the preferred authentication method to use. Open the related menu below to complete the configuration steps for the selected method.

    Authenticator
    1. Follow the steps included in the prompt to download an authenticator app and scan the provided QR code. Click Next.

    2. Enter the generated code shown on your authenticator app.

    3. That is it! You should see an on-screen message confirming the Two-Factor Authentication codes are generated in your connected authenticator app.

    Text Message
    1. Enter the phone number you wish to receive authentication codes at.

    2. Click Next.
    3. Verify the provided number by entering the code sent by the system.

      You should receive the code within a few minutes of providing the number. Click Finish.
    4. That is it! You should see an on-screen message confirming the Two-Factor Authentication codes are sent via text message to your provided phone number.
