Paylocity Marketplace Workspace allows Paylocity clients to manage vendor integrations for their company. Paylocity Marketplace allows companies to browse and select new integrations as well as manage existing and active integrations, such as their integration with ClearCompany. With the Paylocity Integration, ClearCompany can now pass new hire information into Paylocity’s onboarding process or employee payroll. What is Paylocity?

Paylocity develops industry-leading, cloud-based payroll and human capital management solutions for medium-sized organizations. Paylocity's comprehensive and easy-to-use solutions enable clients to manage their workforces more effectively. Paylocity Bi-Directional Integration

The Paylocity Bi-directional integration allows organizations to automatically populate and update their data in ClearCompany as well as send new hires from ClearCompany to Paylocity, ensuring both systems are aligned. This connection creates efficiency throughout ClearCompany workflows by ensuring accurate data is available at all times and removing the need to manually update employees, roles, supervisors, etc.

Paylocity System of Record

The Paylocity System of Record data sync (initial and ongoing) from Paylocity to ClearCompany includes the following fields.

  • Employees/Users
  • Offices/Locations
  • Departments
  • Roles
  • Job Titles
    • *Position Titles and Job Titles are separate in Paylocity

At this time, when using the Paylocity System of Record multiple company IDs are not being supported.

What information do we need?

To set up the Paylocity Integration ClearCompany needs the following information:

  • Paylocity Company ID
    • Paylocity ID (This must be provided to your Integration Specialist.) Your Company ID is the ID you used to login into Paylocity, and it will be the same ID you see in the upper left-hand corner of your Paylocity portal.

  • Requesting you Workbook
    • You are responsible for requesting your integration workbook from the Paylocity Marketplace. This is necessary to obtain the metadata from your Paylocity account that will be utilized in your new hire integration. Check out this article to learn more.

Setup Process

Please Note:

Before starting the setup process, you are responsible for completing any changes to company structure data (roles, departments, offices, users) in ClearCompany to ensure the information can be connected and synced between Paylocity and ClearCompany. This is important to make sure data is aligned between the two systems.

Process

  • Retrieve your Paylocity Company ID
  • Complete and sign the PADE (Paylocity Automated Data Exchange) form. Instructions on how to complete this can be found here.
  • Connect the System of Record
  • The integration is purchased.
  • You will request integration setup through the Paylocity Marketplace (instructions on how to complete this can be found here.). Paylocity enables the correct endpoint for you to be able to receive imports from ClearCompany.
  • ClearCompany receives a Partner Integration ClearCompany Workbook for the client from Vendor Support.
  • ClearCompany sets up the integration for the correct endpoint using the given Workbook and conducts an integration test.
  • Upon successful testing, we roll out the integration to you.
