ClearCompany Career Sites FAQ

ClearCompany offers 3 options to connect your Applicant Tracking System to your careers page. The options allow you to dynamically post and remove job openings from the careers site. When candidates apply through the careers site, they are automatically submitted to the appropriate requisition in ClearCompany. Please review the options and let your ClearCompany Representative know if you have any questions.

Career Site Options Available

IFrame

Your company’s webmaster embeds an iFrame into your existing careers page.
Pros:
1. Allows you to maintain control over your careers page branding
2. Branding remains consistent with your other pages
3. All website updates flow through to the careers page

Stand-Alone Page

This option requires ClearCompany to host a standalone page that can be linked to your site through a button or link.
Pros:
You do not need an existing website or webpage to begin using ClearCompany.

Cons:
1. Website updates do not flow through to the Careers Page
2. You need to contact ClearCompany to make changes to your careers page.
3. Customization options are limited.
4. Website headers and footers will not be consistent with the rest of your site

Enhanced Career Site Set Up & Search

The Javascript snippet can be loaded into any existing website to display keyword search type ahead search fields, zip code location searches, and dropdown choices to make finding the right job easy for candidates. The layout and information can be customized via a customer-facing setup screen.

Where do I get my iFrame code?

You can reach out to ClearCompany Support or your ClearCompany Representative and they can provide to you.

Our website is hosted by WordPress. How do I embed the iFrame? 

Click here for WordPress Instructions. Contact your ClearCompany Representative for the code required in step 5.

Our website is hosted by a Website Content Management (CMS) System. How do I embed the iFrame?

You will need to follow the directions provided by the Website Content Management System. You may be able to find setup instructions by conducting a Google search. Note: not all Website Content Management Systems support iFrames. If that is the case for you, we can provide a link to a stand-alone site for your job posting list.

The iFrame is displayed in a small box. How can I change the width/height of the box?

iFrame code is designed to be elastic, meaning that it will resize across devices. If the box has a set width/height, it is inheriting this formatting from the code on your website and can be adjusted by your webmaster.

When embedding the iFrame, I get an error code that the link is not secure and the iFrame contents are not being displayed appropriately.

How do I change the way the information is displayed in the iFrame?

How can I move where the job posting list appears on our website?

Copy and paste the iFrame code to the desired location in the webpage coding.

I want to make changes to the careers page. How do I know what is in the iFrame vs. our website?

Generally, the iFrame only includes search filters, the job posting list, social sharing features (if part of your ClearCompany subscription), and a ClearCompany logo at the bottom right of the frame. All content outside this area will be part of your website.

Our organization has different subsidiary companies with separate career sites. How do I make sure the right jobs show up on the right website?

We have multiple options to make this work. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Implementation Manager to discuss which option is best for you.

Is the iFrame mobile-friendly?

Yes, the iFrame is mobile-friendly. Please contact your Customer Success Manager or Implementation Manager if you are interested in a mobile-optimized site.
